Barilla Holiday Park reviews
62Friendly staff and nice clean amenities, however the men’s shower block was not running hot water and 3 out of 4 dryers were not working. The dryer which was “working” took hours and hours to dry our clothes and cost us a fortune. A little more expensive than other parks and a little disappointing, thought we were treating ourselves to a nicer place for our last night.
This place is awesome, great place to get away plus the Golf great also. The restaurant awesome food to. The staff is friendly
Unfortunately I had to postpone my original booking due to Covid, the response from the owners regarding this matter was outstanding and I definitely can't wait to stay at this park in the future.
The missing star is only due to the fact that I haven't seen the park in person, I'm sure once I stay there I can add that missing star.
A great park, quiet, private sites. Monday night no food available.only delivery we could find was Dominoes Pizza (we cooked our own food tho) very much cheaper than the other big 2 parks.reception was pleasant and very helpful.timed showers (7 minutes) but very nice and hot.spot on place
Quiet, clean site. Close to airport & campervan hire made returning vehicle & time management a breeze. Will definitely return.
Great place just out of Hobart - awesome bathrooms with hot water and great van sites with a fake grass out the door so not trampling rocks inside, reasonably priced too
Quaint showers and toilets that were in old water tanks. Sites were large and have artificial grass on each and partitioned by hedges. Had dinner onsite at restaurant and would highly recommend. Big size and tasty meals.
A beautiful park, very family friendly and only a short trip to Richmond one way or a little longer and you can zip down to hobart. Big bonus is they have putt putt so if you have little ones its great. And also a restaurant but im yet to try it.
Great spot to stay a couple of nights! Cleanest caravan park I’ve ever seen! Great facilities and only 20mins drive into Hobert. Would stay again
Great park. Excellent size bays, and all that i saw had artificial grass to park alongside. Bonus to not track dirt into van.
There is a putt putt course (fees apply) & pizza bar onsite. Good amenities, timed showers, however the time is long enough for a nice hot shower.
Extremely well maintained Caravan Park. Very welcoming staff, great value for money and very clean amenities.
Highly recommended.
My 2 stars are for the staffs manors, especially at Nates Family Resturant. But, one of our rooms ceiling leaked when it rained right onto the person sleeping in the room and when we told the reception staff all they had to say was oh sorry but theres nothing we can do about that. Absolutely unbelievable. Pay $350 for a cabin over 2 nights and they cant even give us a discount for the leaked roof that left someone loosing a whole nights sleep!
Rang after closing looking for a powered site and manager on duty was extremely happy and helpful.we arranged a site and for me to call when we were 10mins away.everything went smoothly and I got a powered site for the night.extremely happy with service, communication and park.highly recommend.clean amenities. 1st time using a timed shower but loved it.all parks should have them to save water wastage.
Very good campsite, the woman at the reception was really nice and friendly. They do discount for people on there own which I thought was really cool. The unpowered sites were nice. All the facilities were really good. The "tank" shower and toilet was very nice. 5min shower but wasn't an issue for me. They do food in the evening. I had the pizza and it was genuinely very good! Would definitely recommend it
$45 a night camping gtfoh and I'm born locally here what a joke just because 2 other spots closed you raise prices up wow can't believe they charge 45 a night for unpowered tent spot what a joke
Great little caravan park. Everyone's friendly.
Restaurant chef truly cares about your experience and is a good hearted dude.
Quiet, neat, clean and provides a good overall experience. The Pizza was very good and service quick.
The price was reasonable but the facilities are pretty old and dated, it wasn’t the cleanest or neatest park we stayed at this trip.
I wouldn’t stay again
Great place to stay if you want to spend the day touring Richmond and surrounding areas, clean facility, roomy caravan space little play ground and mini putt putt, thermal pool (was shut when we were there but reopening a few days later) beautiful meal at Nate's restaurant just a very very short stroll, and friendly staff all round, we will be staying here again.enjoy
I have never felt so unwelcome finding out about booking. Lady was rude, and an excuse for everything. Advertise as pet friendly but told small dogs only. She carried on about chooks, barking dogs, and leaving dogs.we have been travelling 12months with our dog and never felt so unwelcome.
