Apricus Launceston

Such a great spot to enjoy a beautiful meal, and fantastic views. I went to this wonderful location recently, and ordered the poke bowl which i asked to be made vegan. Delicious and i would highly recommend going!

Amazing location and atmosphere. Farm animals nearby with feed you can buy I. The restaurant.

However the food in the restaurant was alright - nothing amazing.

Disappointing. The service was friendly, however extremely slow to receive meals. My main issue is the cost for portion size, I ordered a $25 chicken burger, and received an at most $15 chicken slider (taking into account the side of fries). It was decent in taste, however the size was laughable, smaller in circumference than a McDonald's cheese burger, with the chicken itself stretching to fill it. When you can purchase a chicken burger from say Burger Junkie that's near 3x the size, including the actual chicken itself, and $10 less, this is massively over priced. The burger is also from the "mains" menu, not the small plate menu.
All up disappointed yet again.

I was there for breakfast with the family. Excellent food, fantastic views, Kind staff! I strongly recommend this restaurant.

The food was ok but the amount of time it took to get it to the table was unacceptable. Also the waitress didn’t seem to understand the concept of sharing a meal - our first order was just plonked in the centre of the table with no serving utensils, had to ask for two plates to eat off. Then we waited half an hour for our second dish (also which we shared - same problem). Decided not to stay for any more appalling service after that

The owners have done a great service to the local community and campers. Fine restaurant dining, gift shop, Caravans can park around the lake at very reasonable rates. The afternoon views across the farmlands make for beautifully changing hues. Kids can feed the animals too with feed from the gift shop.

Country setting was perfect. Soy calamari and chilli very good. Lemon tart and wine excellent. Ditto from my better half. Great service from the staff.

Very very bad service, I am a chef and work in one of a good AGF Winning hatted restaurant in launceston.
I am in here with group of friends and am disgusted with the rude behaviour of the FOH,
Ordered drinks for 5 people and she managed to carry them in a hand, hats off to the talent but would prefer them in a tray in an organised way.
Ordered food and she said they don’t have salmon asked if there is any other market fish as i thought they ran out of salmon and she told me i can have fish and chips.
The food was good loved the presentation and the texture but really need to work on the FOH.

Disappointed with the food and service after seeing such good previous reviews. Went for lunch, took a long time to receive food, and 2 meals were stone cold. Expensive for what there was, and they even charged a surcharge for using a card in this COVID cash free environment! The location was lovely, and kids would enjoy it. The coffee was good.

You can enjoy a meal there without even having to go inside. Beautiful lawn with water and sand play for the kids. You can order and pay on your phone.

Nice drinks, yummy food, a beautiful setting, and accommodating, friendly staff. This venue we will be sure to visit again with our dog, who thoroughly enjoyed their pup friendly menu. Thank you Apricus for having us!

Lovely service staff, well trained regarding covid practise and polite when explaining g the requirements.
Fab coffee and best brownie ever ever, two drinks and pizza $25! Recommend.

Sat on the deck and it was well covered with an amazing view! The service was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious - sausages were a standout. The potato rosti was a little underseasoned but the beans more than made up for it!

A hidden gem and a must visit if you are in or near Launceston.

Lovely lunch, nice view and location. Great sized and enjoyable meals. Was table service but quite slow and didn't offer us another round of drinks, family members had to go and ask.

A group of about 15 monthly ladies lunchers went to Apricus and were very disappointed, miserable staff, very hot, sun shining straight on to us, extremely noisy you couldn'thear what was being said to you, food below average at an above average price. At the end we ended up paying for 2 peoples meals that weren't even at our table, there was no apology no trying to sort out where YOU went wrong with the bill, we had to pay for another table not paying their bill. Shame on you, we go out in a group regularly and spend $$$, but nobody wants to go back to Apricus again, your loss. Whatever happened to customer service?

Booked Apricus for a 21st birthday and was blown away how good this place is for such a night. Great setup, staff, awesome canapes and the general feel of this modern place on a beautiful site.

This is a well run establishment. Food and coffee excellent. The staff are well trained. This is one of our favourite restaurants/cafe's.

Love the food. Very friendly staff, great views. Kids got to feed the animal's. Feels like your out of town in the country, but your 5 minute's from the city. Highly recommend.

Service was very slow. Took over an hour to get our breakfast meals. And some of the items were cold too. Not sure what was going on this day. Was a breakfast on a Sunday morning.
