26This gym has changed my life, been coming here for 2 years now and have lost a ridiculous amount of weight. Location wise it was ideal for me, the friendly staff & the gym buddies I’ve befriended along the journey have been great. Couldn’t recommend it more
Friendly staff and well equipped. Showers here are lukewarm at best. As with pretty much all gyms the “music” is terrible. If you look around you see 80% of people are wearing headphones. I wish Zap would take note that this means that at least 80% of people do not appreciate the music. Time to turn it off, or at least turn it down.
Response to Zap: The music issue is not something particular to the Valley View club. This is something that needs reviewing for all Zap gyms. It’s not a matter or personal preference or taste. Zap needs to act in the best interests of it’s members, not cater to personal preferences. I am suggesting that it be turned off and let us make our own decision as to whether we want music or not by bringing our own headphones. Or at the very least, put in place a volume limit that all Zap gyms need to adhere to so that if we do bring our own music, we can listen to it without hearing the club music coming through at the same time.

Nice gym. The smith machine bars have rust on it. I have no idea how this could happen as the machine gets used often
It has a lot of equipment and is similar to other gyms in the area
Lost most of the staff, no personal trainer. Manager hardly talks. Recent refit gave cardio machines a big boost at the expense of weights. Seems to struggle keeping regulars.
Well equipped but lacking some equipment as it does not have the floorroom. Great staff and very clean
