Zambrero Hindley Street

I want to start by saying that I absolutely love Zambrero's and the burrito's are usually the best you can get and priced so good!

It had been a while since popping into this store and I have been craving burrito's for a while. Luckily I left my lunch at home this morning. Figured I would stop in and get something that would hit the spot.

I always get the Vegan IQ burrito as by the time its all made up with everything it is massive and hits the hunger spot.

I don't recall the name of the person who served me today, however I believe she was new as she wasn't confident with what goes into the burritos or the other lady she was serving who got a veggie bowl.

I had to prompt on double gauc and watched as I got two small spoons and the bowl got a fair chunk more. I was asked as a last minute thing whether I wanted lettuce (one of the other staff prompted her) and them asked for salad. I opted for the IQ salsa only.

When I picked up my burrito it felt like I got a chikito. I ate it and was a little underwhelmed and still hungry. Which usually doesn't happen.

I wanted to leave a lower but I love Zambrero's and usually I am really satisfied.

Potentially if someone is new, it may be best that they don't serve two customers at once until they are a little more confident and know whats in each. That would be my only piece of feedback.

Heaps of food. Nice, spicy Mexican food without too much heat. Good service and nice and clean. Bit of a wait for lunch but worth it.

As always, Zambrero, your fast food has sated my son's appetite. Whilst the tiny sparrows are cute n all maybe look at some kind of solution to keep them away from food prep areas. Not saying sparrows are dirty, just suggesting they may not be compatible with human food.
