Zambrero Golden Grove

Terrible customer service and disappointing food.
When this location first opened the staff seemed to put effort into their work but I've gotten nothing but bad service and messy tacos ever since. One worker in particular never puts any care into her job and seems as if she's forced to work there without pay.
Tacos are made messily, with protein wiped on the sides, onions aren't separated so i get whole half slices stuck together.
I really used to like this store but I can't support business like this anymore.
Edit: Please train your employees so they don't make people feel guilty for giving your store money

Zambrero's is nice but this particular location is not as good as the others. The burritos I have gotten from here weren't that nice and were not put together well. $2 for avocado is ridiculous and the staff put hardly any on there. They put hardly any salads or meat on there too. Norwood and North Adelaide are better locations in my experience.

Fantastic! Always happy when I go here staff are always happy and welcoming I'm also always happy with the way my burritos are wrapped I can't stand sloppy wraps and they nail it every time. If any improvements less is more when it comes to onions. Don't over power it.

Came into the store on Friday at lunch, staff looked like they would rather be anywhere else. My burrito was ok, have had better at other stores. Wouldn’t normally leave a bad review but this isn’t the first time I have received bad customer service at this store, so maybe this will encourage a manager to have a chat to everyone about how to greet customers.

Amazing experiece will make sure to bring the kids again. Great value and all for a great cause. Best Mexican in Adelaide.

They do great burritos and burrito bowls. Quick friendly service fresh ingredients. Can't really go wrong with zambrero for lunch or dinner.

I love this place and staff but today I'm disgusted.hardly any cheese or sour cream i said excuse me but thats not even a tea spoon full.can i have the right amount. 50cents extra.never seen this staff before but i wont ordering from them again.worse burrito EVER.

This Mexican cuisine was a very delightful change from my usual eateries I normally have. Everything's freshly prepared for the days trade, so step out of your comfort zone and let your tastebuds take you on a journey to Mexico.

Great food and a lot of options. Would have liked more variety of vegan or vegetarian food (such as tofu) but it's still really good.

Great food and great staff. Always greeted with and served with a smile! I would recommend this store for sure! Also some decent seating inside and outside is always a bonus.

Next to no consistency when it comes to the quality of the food. Have been going to the Golden Grove store on a weekly basis and am becoming increasingly frustrated with the varying quality of food I’m getting. I always order the same burrito every time I come in but it’s beggining to become a game of chance as to wether the rice or chicken in it will be any good or even edible.on multiple occasions the rice has been left sitting in the pot for WAY too long going bad and ruining the entire burrito. I’ve also had occasions where the rice I’m served is full of black stuff that gives the whole burrito a weird sour tangy taste? If staff could please be trained to maintain the quality of the food they are holding on level a bit better it would be much appreciated as I now struggle to convince myself to go to the Golden Grove store or to simply just give up and start going to the subway next door.

I just went here Friday night 7pm. Ran out of white and black rice. Didn't bother to tell the rest of the line until they got to the front. Super slow workers with no urgency to serve the 10 people in line.

Food was okay but perhaps you could have a talk to your staff about customer service, having someone slop the food into the bowl when they very obviously look like they would rather be anywhere else, and as though serving you is the worst thing they could ever have to do, does show in the food and impact on my desire to come back. I was polite, I was pleasant so it wasn't like the person was reacting to me, not that that would be okay anyway.

Probably not the cheapest burrito place around, but worth every dollar. Very tasty and filling.

Love the food. I had an IQ bowl with pulled pork it was amazing. Young staff are very polite.
Great and convenient location.
I will be going back soon to try another delicious dish.
