Woorabinda Bushland Reserve reviews
40 I love this place. Quiet and tranquil (usually). Walk around the lake, spot the birds and the tortoises, just sit and absorb the serenity.
Several nice bush walks extend into the park in several directions away from the lake and over the rail line.
Interesting nature walk. Quite a few conspiracy stickers all over the information boards and signs. Some whacko Karen probably walks her chihuahua around here.
Peaceful meander around the lake watching the bird life and reminising of when I used to live in the hills
This reserve has walking tracks, a lake, birdwatching catch and surrounded by natural bushland. Lovely in all weather.
Nice, easy, sheltered walk. Lovely scenery around the reservoir. Close to city yet the place makes you feel like you're in the middle of proper bushland.
One can easily spend good few hours there, walking or just having a picnic.
Great place for a bit of serenity and to explore for a short to medium walk. Or just sit and watch the ducks.
Nice area of native bushland to wander around although the place is a bit dated and bring stable shoes as the loose gravel paths can be quite slippery in dry or wet weather. A chance to see a kookaburra or koala, or at worst case the ducks in the lake. Some lovely gum trees if you come in on the eastern side of the park
A really pleasant place to visit. Great native vegetation, plenty of walking tracks, lake full of a variety of Birdlife.
Well worth a visit.
So beautifully peaceful with so much nature! I loved watching the waterbirds and photographing the plants!
Best place in the hills for a picnic. Sit by the lakeside, lots of different birds, ducks and dragonflies. Very serene and peaceful. Great walking track too.
So lucky to have native & peaceful walk trail around Stirling. One of our favorite with children
A beautiful but short walk through unspoiled aussie bushland.around a small lake teaming with bird life. Worth fonding.
Peaceful walk where it's easy to forget the rush of town is nearby. I must say I'm highly disappointed by so many dog owners with their dogs off lead. The signs are very clear that dogs should remain on lead and on trail. We did see two Koala and a few birds. With so many people letting their dogs off lead here the reserve doesn't have much of a chance to become a true safe haven for wildlife.
Lovely little path winding through bushland around the lake. A great detour 2mins from the main Street in Sterling.especially useful to burn of the calories post lunch
A lovely place for a relaxing walk, plenty of birds and if you're lucky you might see a turtle in the water!
Beautiful for a walk when in Stirling. Lots of bird life. Be sure to walk along the longest tracks.
Some of the paths were not accessable or didn't exist anymore.
Beautiful environment, and a great walk. Trail was a bit rough at some points, and signage could be improved (would've gotten lost without a GPS map), but a really good exercise. Will definitely return.
Beautiful reserve, the lake is fantastic and if you go on the right days you will see the electric sail boat race!
As if Stirling didn't have enough gorgeous scenery around the place it takes it a step further with a sweet little lake situation right on it's doorstep. Perfect place to walk the dog or just walk yourself.
