Had a really good time. Drinks and food affordable. Staff were great, a special thanks to Taylor. Will be going back soon.

The girls and I went for lunch at Woodville hotel today. I had salt and pepper calamari, salad with a very nice dressing and a few chips. The calamari was cooked to perfection. I loved the salad with the dressing. Hopefully they will bottle this dressing so I can have it anytime. M y two friends had schnitzel, salad and chips. They said the schnitzel was beautiful. I will definitely be back

Extensive menu but was amused when our party of 4 were handed 4 obviously Senior/Pensioner menus (which had no mention of being alternatives for Seniors but which were decidedly cheaper) and just 1 regular menu. The lady who booked us in took one look at us & presumed we would prefer the cheaper meals 4 to 1! The 4 of us selected our lunch meal from the regular menu. We all were amused & regardless of how we were being judged, lunch was enjoyable.

Not only is the pub well presented with friendly and professional staff; The ribs are amazing! Melt in your mouth and beautifully balanced with the sauce and slaw.

Great food - we had a share platter special of cheese, salmon olives etc and it was so lovely! Staff were great - and the outdoor area is perfect! Sunny and protected from the winter wind.really good spot for a weekend afternoon

The chicken breast with camembert and ham with sweet potato mash was delicious. Every one really enjoyed their meals, steaks, pork ribs, fish etc were really good

Took forever for our food to come out when it wasn't busy on a Tuesday night and our garlic bread came out after our mains? ! If you wanted a waiter there was no one to be found to serve you. Food was ok, nothing special. Disappointing.

Great pub excellent facilities, staff very friendly and extremely accommodating. Great job staff excellent servive, food was very good too, very enjoyable evening, highly recommended

Fantastic atmosphere in/outdoor Beer Garden where you can gather with family & friends after a hard days work or maybe to start your Fri/Saturday night drinks in style.

Returned for another try cooking off the hot stone. Getting the hang of it now! The meat was absolutely delicious.

Tried the cold stone desert this time too. Superb!

Staff were terrific this time round.

Wont come again.got ignored by Megan when we first got there.then she was rude when we were looking for a table.she plodded around like it was just all too hard.not a smile.made you feel like you shouldnt be there.she needs the big heave ho!

Have been to the Woody for two Xmas days in a row now and both times have been excellent. Great food with a nice menu selection and good service despite the number of people. Have also been on other occasions and good and service has been good them also. Recommend!

Food is hit and miss here. Inconsistencies in how the meals are served and made aren't inviting. It's as if the chefs each have their own ideas but that's not ideal for the customer. You should get the same taste and standard every time.

Value meals are available at lunch times. Good menu choice, quick service and pleasant staff. Have eaten here numerous times. Always enjoyed.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Even with a mistake with ordering, it was quickly fixed and compensate on a very busy night.

Well you would treat this area as recently gentrified and the pub definitely has taken part in doing so, the outside is a historical architecture whilst the inside is modern and light with friendly service and fantastic food at a great price. Will go again take your family it's quite nice for a function too

Incredible meal on Christmas day and fantastic service. Staff were brilliant. Food perfectly cooked, table in a great location with some space so not over crowded.

Large groups are often quite squished but when I've been with smaller groups its been great
The grill option is amazing as are most their cooked meal however the ceaser salad was quite distasteful, tasted like it had been left out a while or something however that is the one and only food downfall I've experienced here.
