Wharflands Plaza reviews
29Need control for teens running around, one deliberately walk into my car for no reason and the group just laughed
Not many shops in this plaza we only went to Woolworths. Seemed to be a bit seedy late in the evening when we visited. There was a security guard posted in there, not surprising. Woolworths was ok we stocked up with supplies for our road trip. Had everything we needed
Stopped here to use the toilet and I have never been so shocked in my life with the state of public toilet in a shopping centre before. Definitely needs a good deep clean and updating. I wouldn't even bother to shop there
A favourite loitering place of stoned and suss looking local mob hang out here so women screaming and men looking for cigarette butts is normal
Lock your car here shopping is good would say dole day Thursday is action day.good place to have eyes in the back of your head.
Love going town wen I need shopping done freindly serves nice pplz good food carnt complain there
The wharf is fenced off with ugly fencing, the metal flags by local artists have vanished, and trade for other businesses is wrecked by the pub across the road looking after people who appear to have been moved here from Adelaide to "clean up" their streets. Badly needed liquor restrictions are helping.
Amazing. A must go to. Relaxing, modern, with great views of the lake.l Lovely staff. Beautiful spot to chill out over delicious food.
It is what it is. A plaza. Some shops, toilets, a bench in the middle to relax while you scratch a scratchie.
Nothing too fancy nor too retro. I wouldn't say it was BLAND.but very few plazas take your breath away anyway, especially as you're dodging Woolworths trolleys and smokemart customers avoiding Miller's like the plague.
A funny little mall, mostly a shopping "avenue" leading you into Woolworths. A range of shops picking up the passing traffic. They seem to be doing OK with the trade. There is a Chemist and an EB Games store. Clothing for ladies and other little stores. It felt odd that I have to go out onto the street to enter Subway or the big Reject Shop. Parking was very easy, I found a nice shady spot across the riad near the Woolies/Caltex petrol outlet.
Or even better you can park along the foreshore and enjoy the maritime scenery.
Has a small amount of shops
Reject shop the chemist, spend less shoes, smoke mart EB games and rock man's clothing store.
The toilet could do with an upgrade and maybe include a better parents room.
Fortnightly shopping; finished in very good time as there were not too many customers. Shop staff were very pleasant & helpful when assistance was needed. Checkout person was also pleasant, and packed the items.
I like the Wharf area itself. Could be a real winner if planned and organised properly. And converted some of the carpark back to community area. Possibly a wee bit more cleaning of the gulf itself.
Been working out of town in the outback for the last 8 weeks of course there's service with a smile made my day
QR codes every where well done guys no shop made sure you checked in a bit sad I dont think they realise how bad covid is or they forgot already
Wharflands Plaza is a great place to shop and have a coffee and a muffin or even a sandwich. While you have a rest in the middle of your shopping experience. A really big place to walk around and browse the many different types of shops. Make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes and plenty of time.
Kieran's Kitchen was at the esplanade and we had yummy seafoods, chips & beef burrito for lunch. T'was a nice place to hang out, enjoy the cool breeze & soak in the sun.
Great! Lots of parking and slso nice waterfront view. Few shops to visit, and the Big W is quite large.
Bought some peaches. Old and wrinkly the next day. Not enough check outs open for those with weekly shopping.
Called in on my the way north to buy some things. Staff were really friendly. Great community feel here.
