West Beach Chicken & Seafood reviews
41Flipping amazing? Best fish n chips and love the good old paper fish n chips.takes me back to when I was a kid and mum would get us fish n chips by the beach thanks guys amazing work.
Just stopped in for a couple of potato cakes. Walked out with a lamb yiros and some of their donuts as well!
I will definitely drive 35 minutes just to eat here again!
The potato cakes were crunchy but light and fluffy at the same time! Highly recommend!
My local 'go to' fish n chip shop. Fast, friendly service, great prices & crispy fish n chips
I should give them 5 stars as they have proper potato fritters but I gave them 4 as the food was slightly over cooked. Not enough to alter the taste just the appearance, other than that the food was great and the service fantastic. Mum asked for no salt but they accidently put it on, they happily offered to redo her order but she was happy to wipe it off with serviettes. She is anti salt on her food kind of person yet she was still impressed with her food.
Very accommodating and friendly staff, really busy but still got order out quick. Food taste great!
Food was ok but they don't offer bread or buns without butter. When asked, the older lady said no. I said my daughter doesn't eat butter and gets sick from it, she said no we don't offer it. "There are no buns or bread without it". Either it was lazy or they buy premade buttered bread and buns only. Kinda ridiculous for a Cafe to not to offer bread/buns with no butter. Might be trivial for some, but my daughter couldn't get a hotdog which she had been asking for all day.
Great fish and chips. Love taking the kids down for a treat by the sea on a Friday evening. This place is popular so don’t be surprised to wait 20-30 mins for your takeaway order, but it’s worth it.
We had flake and butterfish. Fish was really good. My flake was small, so I received 2 pieces! Other places would just give you one small piece
I have been going to this shop now for over 10 years every time I bring my family from the Barossa to West beach we buy buy our fish and chips from here as well as me coming back from Adelaide heading home to the Barossa once a fortnight I will detour to West beach to grab batter fish chips and potaoe fritters to take home for the family I rate this shop as 10/10
Great fish and chips, best I've tasted in a while. Also have very tasty burgers. Good value for money!
Always a friendly and quick place to pick up some food after a day at the beach. Might be worth ringing order through if you think it's going to be a busier day
Delicious! Great value for money, very friendly service, clean and tidy. Def recommend! My kids loved the pineapple fritters
Ordered $7 worth of chips, 1 spring roll and two 600mL cokes. After going to get my 600ml cokes one of the guys yelled out and said "no you ordered cans of cokes. " I then replied "did I order cans? " The guy then asked me if I'd like to pay the extra and I said no and grabbed the cans. After picking out the cans the guy yelled out across the store something about stealing.
So polite and the food is amazing. You know its good food just by the amount of orders they pump out through the doors
It would be nice to taste their food, but they are closed before 8.30pm on a Friday night! Should be open till 9pm fri/sat night!
We had a prawn pack and a seafood basket. Generous helpings n tasty seafood. Reasonable price n lovely staff. Highly recommended.
Beautifully cooked flake fillets and added some onion rings - we have never been disappointed here.
Well whot can it say very very friendly man the best dam chips an burger ever those other burger places they say day good but this is the top end full on fast big hell yea it had to go into stage three in opening the heads jaw ov bitting so good luck take my advice go try iym taking my self to go there rite now
Decent fish n chips, pricey for the quality in my opinion. If only you smiled once in awhile it would make the place much more inviting, and used paper to wrap your food instead of those Styrofoam containers, they make the food sweaty and soggy and are bad for the environment, not a good look for your business to be honest. Surely fish n chips ain't this hard to get right!?
