Vietnam Restaurant reviews
70A big “shout-out” to the waiter, Eric! He is so accommodating, friendly and customer focused, that started from recommending how much we need to order at the beginning to giving our little one a free ice cream at the end. Thanks to his service, we had a great time!
Very bad service, waiting 30 mins for table water, they r not even busy. Worst pho I ever had, no size choice, no basil, no combination beef soup, very expensive $16 for beef and beef ball rice noodle soup, very expensive $22 for small size of beef rice, even the rice come after the hot tasty beef, that’s a service with no common sense. No need take any photos. Never come back
Service is so average. Had to ask two waiters to add an item to my order and then waited and waited and had to get up to the counter twice to chase up…
So yummy Seafood Salad, Vietnam Crisp Parcels, Soft-shell Crab.all yummy and make sure to try their Vietnamese Coffee. It is the best.
Always a good experience, and most importantly, delicious food, never disappointed when I go here!
Highly recommend! (Everything on the menu)
Nice restaurant to experience Vietnamese food. Very friendly staff and good variety of choices for drinks and food. Fresh and tasty food (except for the oyster which was not very fresh and clean). The best dishes were fried eggplants and the savoury roasted quail which was perfectly cooked and balanced. The desert was very nice as well but of course was more of an Italian than Vietnamese. Nice experience in general. Next time i am planing to try other dishes
I went to Vietnam restaurant by myself on a cold and wet night by myself cuz I was just too lazy to cook after work and craving for something hot and soupy. I was so lucky to get a seat inside the restaurant because the restaurant was really busy and so full. However, the experience was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The laksa was recommended since it is soupy and hot and it is new dish. I chose seafood laksa and I didnt regret. It is spicy enough to warm u up. The coconut broth maybe a bit lighter compared to some Malaysian laksa but tastes really 'clean' but still rich enough. The seafood was freshly cooked, the noodle was chewy and the veggie was crunchy. I was so happy with my laksa. Definitely comeback for the laksa. (I messed up my bowl a bit before the pic was taken)
We called and placed a takeaway order as soon as the restaurant opened at 5: 00pm and we were told the food would be ready in 20-30 minutes. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn’t too busy (perhaps still early) but our food did not come out until 6: 15pm… They apologised for the wait but we didn’t receive an explanation etc. We’re pretty sure they forgot our order.
Dissapointed that we were asked to move on when there were people at tables sitting longer than we were and they were not asked to move on.not sure that I would go back.
Food great as always but it took over 45 minutes to get our food served. Looked like one kitchen helping to serve two restaurants, with staff going back and forth between them - really not ideal as it appears busier than what they can handle.
Once again I over ordered because there are just to many awesome choices to try on the menu.
Thank you for a wonderful dinner on our 19th wedding anniversary.
As a long time patron of this restaurant I was appalled at the wait time for my food and the attitude of the staff. As I write this review I have been waiting over an hour for my food while I watch other patrons who arrived and order after me receive extremely large orders. If your wanting quick service go elsewhere.
Thank you for an awesome meal and friendly service. The softshell crab one if the best I've had. The hot and sour soup spot in delicious. The beef with coconut and lemongrass also superb
I go to this restaurant every time when I visit Adelaide. BBQ quail and the warm seafood salad are the must order dishes!
Amazing food as always, so consistent. Taste exactly how I remember it everytime we visit. Staff and service is excellent!
Went here with my partner and I had the quail, salt pepper squid, duck, pumpkin and beans.
The quail was impeccably cooked, flavourful and juicy.
Salt and pepper squid, lacked seasoning and spicy flavour and aroma.
Duck was dry, flavourless and did not go well with the sauce. The duck did not have the nice gamey taste and was akin to oven cooked chicken.
Beans were cooked well and crispy. However the beans were really bland.
Pumpkin was nice, something different that I havent tried before.
Overall the meal tasted a bit bland.
If I had to recommend something to would be patrons, just order a large serving of quails for yourself and skip everything else. They did the quail very well.
As for pricing the venue is overpriced for what you're getting in this side of town.
Service wise, the people were nice and we received prompt service.
If you were around the area and were not that fussed with the atmosphere, I would recommend trying Enjoy Inn, order the duck and beans from there. You should notice the flavour difference I am referring to in my review.
After booking for 17 people I was told we had to have a banquet for that amount of people. So I did at 37.50 per head. The amount of food we were served was insulting. We were first asked if we were prepared to have 17 people on 2 round tables. Of course I refused but I would have liked to see them achieve this! We asked for drinks many times and after a long wait received them. Out comes our first dish after half an hour wait. Acceptable but after that it went downhill. Roll your own pork.for 17 people 6 skewers. Beef. 3 main serves for 17 people. Chicken. 3 main serves for 17 people. Pork 3 main serves for 17 people. Rice Hot Pot ok. Food came in dribs and drabs. Service was shocking. I complained after I received my 970 dollar bill and all I got was "come next time and we will take care of you" Needless to say visited Maccas on the way home. Don't order a banquet! And be prepared to experience bad service. Won't be dining there again.
We shared a great meal here for Lunar New Year. The food was fresh and delicious. And we were looked after very well.
We also enjoyed the noisy fireworks which preceded a fabulous lion dance!
This is a great restaurant for a special celebration or just a good night out.
Been here for the first time with some friends. Enjoy the atmosphere and friendly staffs. Delicious food. Absolutely going back again someday.

Had lunch with family last week, a big dissapointment. First of all, please do not order any rice dishes for your lunch in this restaurant, my second try and not even close to a takeaway shop. Rice were dry, roast duck tasted like rubber, BBQ pork were not actually BBQ pork, and most important, they taste like something from yesterday. Second, ordered a Vietnam Combo roll your own, again, tasted like old foods, roast pork were hard dry and chewy, sugarcance was burned to black.
For me, I considered this restaurant in a higher class compare to other local Vietnamese restaurants, but with such a low quality like this, a big let down.
