Vietnam Restaurant reviews
70This was my first experience with this restaurant, and it was a satsfactory service. All the staff were kind and very helpful. Food was autenthic and taste delicious. Restaurant was full at that moment and we didn’t have any reservation, and we have 2 kids and 2 elderly people. We are not local so we didn’t know that we need to make a booking since the restaurant is quite famous but the kind staff let us came in and give us an a proper table for 6 people. We had a great expirience and surely will come back again whenever we go to Adelaide.
Have not back to this restaurant for 23 years and the foods still is marvelous. Feeling like walking back to memory lane. The taste of the food still remains the same standard. The staffs services is great even when the restaurant is jam pack they still keep their smile when serving the customer. Thank you for the lovely memory coming back to dine here again after 23 years later.
When only the best will do absolutely great the food was amazing and the staff are wonderful
Food always amazing staff very attentive and helpful. Didn't have to wait long for our meals and again the food is the best.
Delicious food with excellent service and very decent prices. Highly recommend to visit this restaurant - remember to book in advance.
Thanks to Maria we had one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! There were so many amazing options to choose from on the menu, we couldn’t decide, so we asked Maria to choose the best dishes for us and she could not be more helpful! Thank you so much Maria for your suggestions and your genuine customer service. The food was a bonus! Cooked to perfection! We will be back!
Live reviewing.told we have a 90 min window to eat (6pm - 7 30pm).
Currently 7: 10 and still waiting for our entrees (and our water). Surprisingly, (or not), others who arrived after us are enjoying their mains.
I know the food will be good. Always is. But what's better? An average meal with great customer service? Or good food with very poor service? The answer to this question will help you decide if you'd want to come here.
My wife and I travelled from Louisiana, US and absolutely loved our experience at Vietnam! The pork balls, sizzling steak and BBQ chicken were our favorites! Highly recommend!
The best restaurant in Adelaide. The make your own cold rolls are amazing and are enough as meal by themselves. The whole menu is truly delicious but you must do the satay beef entree, soft shell crab (this is the best dish I've ever had) and instead of the fried rice I recommend the combination rice hot pot. If you have any room left and fancy a dessert you need to finish with the creme brulee.
This place is always busy so you need to book. The staff are polits, attentive and are always willing to offer their recommendations on dishes to order.
I'd give this place 10 stars if I could.
Excellent service here! They brought us napkins and change hot water bowl before we asked.
Everyone has such good attitude and warm hearts here. They really care about customers.
Food is very authentic and delicious!
A must try in Adelaide!
Great food, very authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Fast, efficient service and very reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit
Charged $8.20 for table water. That was supposed to be table water.
He smirked when I pointed out the price
They wouldn't take the water back when asked. So we never drank it. Still charged $8.20 on a very hefty bill for two.
Average food and Way over priced.
Not even servos rip you off that much.
Dined in at 6, didn't start getting our dishes until 830pm.
Had a wonderful, tasty, relaxed and friendly meal tonight at tge Vietnam Resturant. We had not been for about 10 years, the foods, atmosphere, everything was a perfect as it was way back then. A big thank you to pur host, Maria who helped selected some great dishes to try. Thank you for a good night out.
The quail, noddle soup, coconut crabs fantastic but stay away Mixed vegetables with sweet and sour sauce which is inedible, ps the woman with short hair waiter service is excellent!
Love dining at this restaurant. Great customer service and the food is always amazing. I fully recommend
We had an amazing night, there is a reason this place is busy, amazing staff and amazing food. The menu can be a maze to start with but try a few entree including the Vietnamese parcels. For the mains if it's a hot night sit out the front and enjoy making your own cold rolls. Dont be afriad, if you need they will guide you so you'll be rolling like a pro in no time. Even if you're bad they will still taste amazing with that secret sauce they make. We ordered the quail and for a first time quail person the char and spice was epic. We will be back and we will continue to try the rest of the amazing dishes we saw coming through the restaurant. There should be 6 stars for this place.
Authentic Vietnamese food. Staff are friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced. Recommend the Soft Shell Crabs. Make sure you book ahead.
The only good dish was the spring roll with rice paper wrap. The waitress that was taking our orders was bit pushy. I asked for some slices of lemons, it never came. Waiter didn't even bother. It was disappointing. Don't think I will go back.

: Lol if you’re wondering, yes, the bame of this restaurant is literally Vietnam Restaurant. One of the top Vietnamese restaurants on my list.
️: We ordered so much food but none went to waste as we devoured each and every dish. Absolutely loved the Vietnam Crisp Parcels. Every bite was so crispy and crunchy, yet so fluffy inside. The Banana Fritters with Ice Cream were also out of this world. Absolutely heavenly. Crispy and light. LOVED every bite of it.
This place has being around for years, the quail are great as are many other dishes. Would go early they get busy and order takes some time to get to the table
