Veloce Paninoteca Glenelg reviews
49Friendly staff. Food was nice and we didn't wait long, however it was Monday so it wasn't crowded
It wasn't very busy when I went there which was nice. I enjoyed both the pizza and smoothy that i had.
Excellent customer service by young girl who served us today. After being disappointed in food else where at marina pier we decided to have coffee and something sweet. As I have never been here before at this place we asked young girl that works there for advice to suggest something nice. And I have to be honest with you everything we had was tasteful.
Small family business that treat customers with dignity and respect.
Pretty Average. Just popped in for take away coffees. Coffee wasn’t great. Place is very similar to Cibo but coffee no where near same standard.
As a general rule it does seem Glenelg food has a different style to what I'm accustomed to in the city, so maybe take this review with a grain of salt. But for a place that is literally a cafe, you would expect at least the coffee to be good, however I've had better instant coffee at home. The bread came cold, and basic toast, no sour dough. The hashbrown tasted like they had reused the oil too many times, the bacon was dry and chewy, the eggs came with uncooked eggwhite. Overall the food was edible and we were hungry, but lacking any wow factor. The Chai Latte to be fair was one of the best I've ever had, if you get one thing here, get that:) We nearly forgot we ordered dessert.carrot cake was ok but bland, while the vanilla slice had cream puff that tasted like it was made from discarded fat from cooking. The place overall has good reviews so hopefully this was just us:)
Fantastic staff who remember your name and your regular coffee. My favourite coffee in this area.
Drove from Mt Barker to Glenelg for Brekkie.nothing more need be said.ok one thing.
Wonderful food, great coffee lovely people operating it. Thank you.
I went for breakfast with my partner and we order the Eggs and Bacon roll in brioche bun. The lady told us that she didn't have brioche bun if she could send in another one, I said was fine and I paid the same price as it was in the menu. When I got the breakfast it was really disappointed, effortless on Coles toast egg and bacon. We received a very poor plate with regular toasts. People go to restaurants for the experience to eat some nice and beautiful. I understand if they don't have the bread but at least try to bring something nice to the table. Thanks
Tese people have been so good through COVID, invariably cheerful, happy to see us, and join on the banter.
Pretty much as standard as you can get. It won't blow you away, but it's doubtful you'll leave totally unsatisfied either. A picture of it should be next to "acceptable" in the dictionary. Real middle of the road stuff, but sometimes consistency is what you're after.
Just the best spot to go for a great Breakfast. Food and the coffee are great fresh and flavoursome. Mixed Berry smoothie yummy
One of the best coffee ice creams I’ve ever tasted. My wife enjoyed her cappuccino and my son loved his rainbow ice cream.
The inside looks nice and open with plenty of room due to the mirrors, as well as a good atmosphere. Food was delicious and staff friendly. If you’re looking for a place to just sit down and calmly enjoy your day, this is a good place. The vinyl bench was also comfortable.
What makes Veloce so special is the attention to detail.the coffee is exceptional. The food fresh and delicious. Staff are friendly and personal. It's a place to look forward to visiting.

Veloce is about enjoying every morning high quality Italian coffee with a splendid view. And their attentive and friendly personnel are willing to brighten your every morning up.
Great place to grab a quick snack and coffee in Glenelg. The food is tasty and the service is good. It can get fairly busy, but that's because it's good quality.
The best Hazelnut afogatto I've ever had with impressive presentation, the coffee was to die for and the Gelato ice-cream was brilliant with a sprinkle of chocolate powder, nice air conditioned comfort interior set on the pier, what views!
We had 2 coffees and a vegetarian pizza. Pizza base like hard piece of cardboard, sparse on toppings. Not for pizza lovers! Food being served to others looked nice.
Great view of the marina, but all industrials foods. Australian peoples don’t know about food, too sad
Quality food and coffee. Open early on Sundays which was a nice surprise and overlooks the pier.
