Food was FANTASTIC. Easily as good as being there! No corners cut on quality at all.
We'll be ordering again tomorrow with friends.
Takeaway order got mixed up, but they called us to let us know they'd realised and home delivered the fix!
Simply awesome.
Can't recommend highly enough.

Great decor! Rustic, vintage, steampunk, friendly service and locals. They also brew their own craft beer, which is delicious to say the least!

Absolutely love the decor and the beer garden, such a fabulous spot. We are regulars at the Crafers, Stirling, Verdun, Aldgate and Bridgewater Hotels so it was nice to have a change. The service was ok. Not fabulous. The wine list is expensive compared to the other Hills pubs. We chose nice wines, Tappanappa, one red and one white which was $170 worth of wine. There wasn't much choice below $60 which would put me off going again. There's plenty of $40+ options on other hotels wine lists and when you're not out for a special meal, just a night with the kids then $60+ wine options are not ideal. The menu was good, lots of choice. We took my Dad who was over from the UK and he didn't want a 300gram plus steak so it would be a good option to have a slightly smaller weight option on the menu. The kids had the adult burger option which was great but came with really average chips, like frozen packet ones however the shoestring fries with the steak were really good. It made me wonder why the burgers didn't come with shoestring fries. I wondered about whether the Uraidla really needs a sommelier? But the wait staff were young and really had no idea about the wines so perhaps that's why (or to help sell the expensive wines!)
Overall I loved the physical location, it's my favourite for decor and beer garden but I think the service and the wine list would put it down the list compared to some of the other Hills pubs (some of which I understand are owned by the same people!)

Absolute beautiful venue. The gardens are so lush, the vibes are great and the food is outstanding quality. However the staff are not very friendly, accommodating or passionate.

I'm so proud of our little hotel, Julie has done an exceptional job in rebuilding what was a tired old pub. The Uraidla Hotel is such a great asset and employer to our area and it was with great vision that Julie and her husband had to put this whole complex together (Hotel, Brewery and Bakery)

We thoroughly enjoy coming here the occasional meal, the roadie on the way home from the movies and meeting with friends. The atmosphere is easy and relaxing, the staff pretty good to get along with, one night I had one of the local beers which wasn't to my taste, the bar manager simply said well let's try another - where these days does one find that?
I'm not trying to blow wind up your bottom but my wife and I are so proud of our local, it's revitalised our small community
May you be here for many years to come

Admittedly wanted some lunch on Australia Day? Not a good start. Saw it was very busy so only ordered hot chips so it wouldn’t take so long, still waiting an hour later and waitresses very grumpy. My advice is close food service if you can’t cope.

Bloody Great Pub.

Pay attention pub owners of Radelaide, you could learn a lot from the Uraidla Hotel.
This place is one of few that have achieved the holy trinity of hospitality = Food, Service & Venue.

The menu here isn't anything out of the ordinary. It showcases but a dozen or so items, yet Chefs execution is spot on and every dish ticks the all important "yum" box (kids menu included).
Service is often where most places fall short, not here. Although a young team, its amazing what a smile and attentiveness can do to lift a patrons experience.
Finally, set amongst the beautiful Adelaide Hills, this recently resurrected old pub hasn't lost any of its historic charm.

When you get the formula right.it just works.

Oh and if that isnt enough, next door is the Uraidla Cafe & name sake Brewery.

I suggest you grab your family and friends, order a cold beer or glass of wine and let the team at the Uraidla do the rest.although be sure to book as this place is always pumping.

Over priced drinks and food, and arrogant service.
1. Price of food would be more acceptable if it was table service, not line up at the bar. Portions aren’t massive. Food is nice, but not worth the price.
2. Local wines are WAY overpriced and not worth it. $57 for a bottle of average Rose from 3km away is highway robbery.
3. Staff need to drop the attitude, learn how to speak to customers, and go to hospitality school. At these prices, I expect staff to be exceptional in language and duty. Too many “no” when asking a question.
4. Place needs to appeal to locals as well as tourists.

The Kangaroo wings are simply incredible. The waitress was great and knew her stuff. Highly recommend

I love the Uraidla hotel. Sometimes I visit just for a beer with friends. Sometimes I reserve a table for 10 or more and have a great meal. The experience is always good whenever I'm there.

We stopped today at Uraidla in memory of our best friend who past away 12 years ago and is berried up there
It would be his 71 first birthday today and it is my wife's 65 so we stopped at the pub and enjoyed a great selection of food

It's worth a stop anytime!

Have been here twice now, yesterday being the second time. After being messed around with across the road at lost in a forest we walked across to the Uraidla for lunch for 4 people at 2pm. We were worried it would be too late for lunch service but the friendly staff were very accommodating and gave us a seat immediately. All of our meals were incredible and made the day which was almost ruined (it being my birthday) a really special day. The beer selection is amazing, my personal favourite being the higher self pale ale. Can’t fault anything, will be returning time and time again, keep it up:)

Worst meal ever.
Crumbed pork schnitzel, and it stunk.
And it was dry and tough, and they had poured the juz over the pork, making crumb soggy. Was so tough my sister couldn’t eat hers. And it was her birthday.
I asked the waitress what the yellow stuff wasn’t my plate that looked like scrambled eggs. She didn’t know and later returned to tell us what it was. It wasn’t the Hungarian dumplings that were written in the Specials menu.

Brought my daughter there for her birthday so it was a little special.
Everything was great. From the building itself right through to the food and the staff. Even a rainy day couldn't spoil it.
Will be back for sure.

The Uraidla definitely has changed, and a beautiful change indeed. This place is gorgeous at nighttime and may I say, I was served quite a nice jack&coke. Yes I did order a parmi.disgraceful and typical of me at a hotel, but may I say it was very nice, especially with the bacon on top. The pumpkin soup we had was also quite nice but way to much pepper was added to the dish.
