Unley Oval reviews
45Well manicured multi-use footy oval which has an old school feel about it with its white perimeter picket fence. Dog owners, keep fit enthusiasts and sports people love it. Womens AFL rounds also played there and home of Sturt footy club. Recommended for a visit if you're not from the area; it's an institution for locals. You can even have a barby there on the supplied electric hot plate.
Unley Oval is one of the well-known and well maintained grounds in Adelaide. Unley Oval is mainly cricket ground but other games like footy and soccer are also be playing here.
Great place to bring kids and kick the footy or soccer ball. Also doing drills in the grandstand
Picturesque ground with plenty of atmosphere on game day. Good facilities. Parking can be an issue but there is plenty of public transport options. When the footy isn't on, ground is accessible for walking the dog and taking the kids to the playground.
All the amenities you need for a day at the park, two playgrounds, toilets, BBQ, seating and shelter.
The Unley Oval and the playgrounds that surround it are truly great. The children's playground has a theme which brings its rating up to a two star rating but the older kids playground almost breaks a five level rating for the spinning see saw alone!
The theme playground has spongy floor for any failures and delightful seating arrangements nearby. This playground is a golden one!
Unley Oval (Peter Motley Oval) the home of the MIGHTY STURT DOUBLE BLUES is a great place to watch football on the weekends, and also a great public park during the week.
Peter Motley Oval offers under cover BBQ facilities as well as playgrounds for the kids.
Has two playgrounds, toilets, bbq area and sheltered seating.couldn't ask for more of an oval imo.
A great hub for sports, exercising, dogs and families. Toilet close by the playground for smaller children - very convenient, dogs only allowed off lead on the oval which is good, multiple BBQ facilities available and multiple sheltered seating. We love this place and go here regularly as a young family:) It's a fave!
It's always clean, neat and tidy. Our young kids love the little playground, the toilet is very handy and accessible even with the pram, and there is a great community atmosphere. One of our favourite local hangouts!
No wonder why they call it dog poop park (please pick up afterwards, seriously). Footy season sturt locals can be a bit aggressive about non local parking on streets. Just like attending a match -need more security to keep locals aware it's meant to be family friendly atmosphere. Shameful.
What a beautifu place well maintained and greenery
Come here as often as I can with my dog and kids
Unley oval is not only s football oval but a cricket oval as well, it'd allso good for kids and BBQ and kids birthday party's.
Lovely park for the kids and dogs. With a playground and room for the kids and dogs to run a muck. Lush grass and well kept gardens. Nice spot for a picnic on a sunny afternoon.
Great oval, food amenities. Just so appalling sturt supporters. Security removed sturt supporters near end of match. Certainly no longer family friendly atmosphere. More security required for safety.
Great place to watch football and the building work that is being done will make the experience of the venue be brilliant.
Superb cricket ground. An old fashioned proper play ground (giant slipperydips 1980s style)
Modern play ground, bbqs, toilets, lush green grass, prestine condition. Clean, family friendly and great sports complex
It was busy today which they found difficult to keep patrons happy with food and drinks unless you were a member
Like so many others will relate, the delays and line up at the food or drink on ANZAC day was in dire need of improvement.
