Uncle Authentic Chicken Rice （ Uncle 海南鸡饭专门店）

Great hainanese chicken & rice but menu is small. Wonderful if that's all you want to order- it's very small but got a table ok - turnaround if patrons is quick with lots of take away orders.

Serving size was small, nothing on their menu, over priced for what you get. HIGHLY RECOMMEND RICKYS CHICKEN AND RICE

Arguably the best tasting and best value Hainese Chicken Rice in Adelaide! Service was quick and courteous.

One of the best Hainanese chicken rice places in Adelaide, IMHO! My only gripe is their opening hours but beyond that, amazing food.

Food is good, but maybe next time serve the customer that was in the queue and waited longer first. Just finding it a bit rude to skip me and let three other people (and Caucasian… fyi) that just arrived to order first…

Uncles is the best. Super fresh, healthy and yum. The staff are so lovely and it is a pleasure to eat here!

A plateful of goodness! Every time when I want to have a quality home cooked dish like my mum would make, I visit Uncle.

Really enjoyed the crispy skin chicken, price of the meal was very reasonable and they serving size was generous. Would have been great to have some kind of chilli with the dish. Great quick lunch stop. Would go again

Good food and service at a reasonable price. They're a lot more popular now than they were a couple of years ago, so sometimes getting a table for dine-in can take a little while, but the food is worth it and they are quick with preparing takeaway orders.

Food is very tasty. Not much seating space and is a bit tight. It's more of a take away joint. Perfect for 2-3 people for a quick bite. Very crowded during lunch hours on weekdays.

Great place for a quick lunch! The service was very quick. The food was fairly tasty and the price was good ($12.80) for a "work"-day lunch. My only issue is that the crispy skin chicken was not crispy, so maybe just go with the "traditional" option.

Came here as my usual chicken and rice place in the Adelaide Market's Food Court is no longer and was really looking forward to having some chicken and rice. They ran out of traditional, so I ordered the crispy skin version. Everything was nice. I do prefer the dipping sauce from the old place I went to though. Service is good, friendly and quick. Would come back for sure when next in Adelaide.

The traditional chicken rice was delicious, even if the soup didn’t add much to the overall dish. This was going to be a 4/5, but I made the mistake of ordering extra crispy skin chicken, which was very dry and bland.

If a place only does a couple of things there's a good chance they're going to do it well. If you like Hainanese Chicken Rice then there's a good chance that you're going to like Uncle Authentic Chicken Rice. 2 types of chicken rice (crispy or not crispy skin) and crispy pork and rice. The sauces that go with the chicken rice are delicious. Quick service so great for lunch.

Another one of my go-tos when I visit Adelaide. Super tasty and authentic. Food is always served in a timely matter. Great when you're time pressed during lunch.

Tasty, tender Hainan chicken with delectable sauces! The side soup is also delicately flavoured. Great little restaurant!

Nice, casual, clean place for awesome Malaysian food. Love their dinner menu, especially the Char Koay Teow. Chicken rice is also brilliant, very authentic taste.
The only minor point is the serving size is quite small, I finished the Char Koay Teow still feeling hungry and ended up eating my take away chicken rice extra chicken (+ $5) but I am a big eater too.

If you miss Malaysia's chicken rice, here you go! Almost 99% closer to what you have in Malaysia. Overall all dishes is good but the portion a bit small.
