Vegan "chicken strips" reminded me of gluten balls we made in trade school service was mediocre, poor people where flat out and didn't have time for customers. Atmosphere was great love the old Rundle arcade, house made sodas are also amazing.

Two of us went up for lunch on a fairly busy Saturday and managed to get a table after waiting a few minutes. Staff were super friendly, one of them took the time to explain which items on the menu they were currently not serving as well as showing us a list of specials. We both got the passionfruit soda which was delicious - not sickeningly sweet, lovely fruit flavour and came in a generous serving. I tried one of the seitan "chicken" burgers, which was ok but nothing special. The aioli was not that flavourful and the texture of the burger was more spongey than that of a true seitan. My friend tried the cheeseburger which looked great and tasted delicious too. We both also tried the fries which were crispy and nicely seasoned. Everything was very reasonably priced too. Atmosphere was lovely, the interior is beautiful and there is balcony seating available. One note is that it took quite some time after ordering for us to get both our drinks and food, which for drinks seemed unusual as we both just ordered soda. Would definitely come back for the range of vegetarian options if nothing else.

Food was fantastic. Fresh and delish! 3 out of 6 people did not actually realise it was vegan/vegetarian when we arrived, but went with the flow and ordered. They thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Thanks for the service

Vegan foods that are made to be accessible mainstream - fun milkshake and burger menu.
Generous serves.
Games to play while you eat.
Nice location.

Staff are very friendly, and menu is vegetarian which was a very nice surprise for me! I generally have very limited choice when eating out so having full run of the menu was practically overwhelming. Food is quite affordable, however the burger I ordered doesn't come with chips or salad, likely to keep it so affordable for vegetarian food. Vibes are great. Only real issues are it's up 2 flights of stairs in the arcade (being inaccessable to some), and that I don't live in Adelaide so won't be able to come back for a while. Pics of menu and my meal in progress attached.

The menu looks great and so many cool vegan options, unfortunately the taste didn't hit. I got the ceaser salad which I ended up just picking out the Lettuce pieces of. The mac n cheese was nice, but cold and too much of the spice on top.
It was disappointing because it was such a cool place and I was so excited to check it out.

Such a gorgeous room to relax in and enjoy fun, casual food. Their drinks menu is full of novel ideas and served in funky glasses. The Snickers Thickie is fab!

An excellent vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Adelaide's Rundle Mall. Virtually all items could be made vegan friendly.

I had the Jailbird Chikn burger and was not disappointed. Awesome gluten patty was thick and perfect chikn texture, the breading was great. A side of chips and some guacamole and I was feeling very full. My friend had the hot dog and a side of vegan mac n cheese and was similarly pleased.

I tried their version of sarsaparilla and agree, it is their take on sars. It had notes of sars but was different, not unpleasant but don't expect the typical sars flavour or colour.

Definitely worth a visit and we'll head back when next in Adelaide

Worthy location and setting in this vegetarian or vegan restaurant…. We tried the chick burger with the Nashville hot sauce and was delectable…. Truly an inspirational vege chef in this other wise boring and mundane Australian vege world

This hidden secret above Rundle Mall is your go-to for vego and vegan delights, plus most other dietary requirements. Plenty to choose from and even a great local beer selection, even the most discerning eaters will be catered for.
Daily specials to tempt your taste buds, you don't have to be a vego to enjoy one of the best alternative eateries in town!

Loved the vibe of this wonderful vegan/vegetarian restaurant in the crowning position of Adelaide Arcade. I loved the nachos and the creamy soda drink was good. The solid 80’s music playlist hit the spot too. Can’t wait to come back!

As a lover of traditional greasy beef burgers, this vegetarian cafe was refreshing. Nice staff and good chill vibe

Amazing vegetarian and vegan options. All of the alcohol on their drinks list is vegan which I love, very convenient. Great range of in-house made soda. They often have interesting artwork for sale done by local artists. #supportyourlocal

Delicious vegan food with the backdrop of a 50s diner. A wee bit pricy but the soda floats and chilli cheese fries are to die for!

The staff were absolutely wonderful, informative, friendly, and there was a huge menu to choose from!
There was quite a long wait as they were pretty busy when we went, but the drinks were lovely while we waited.

I love that a vegetarian can order without worries here, and all you need to do is ask for your order to be vegan, and they'll take care of the rest!

I can't say I recommend the chicken burger, it doesn't have a lot of flavour and the spongy bread-like texture of the patty was very off-putting. The crumbling was nice though.

The "mozzarella sticks" were creamy and tasty, but don't bite into them expecting stretchy cheese. They're quite soft.

Overall a lovely experience, I'm gonna try something else on the menu next time though!

A classic staple of vegan/vegetarian fried food in Adelaide. The vibe is pretty chill, the food is tasty (the onion rings are absolutely compulsory for every visit) and the house-made sodas are great. The one downside is the service, which nine times out of ten takes ages to get to your table, but if you have lots of spare time and don't have anywhere pressing to be, give it a go!
