43A beautiful park with playground and open free wading pool with shade. A must if your in the area.
This is a great place for families to come hang out. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. They have a number of different play equipment areas, along with bbq areas, tennis courts, open areas to hit/kick the ball around and plenty of shady trees to hang out under.
The Burnside wading pool located on the grounds is free, it has a huge shade sail over the top of it, which is great and again very well maintained, however it should be noted the wading pool is NOT monitored, so children need to be closely monitored by their caregivers. This is a great place to do family get togethers or any event really (we do Christmas eve with the family here & its great), as long as you clean up any mess after you're done. Love this place very relaxing and peaceful (even when it is busy).
Pool is clean, very cold but refreshing. The park is nice. It's very open and spacious. The toilets are the big disappointment here, someone had vomited in the sink and it obviously doesn't get cleaned regularly in there. Very gross. And toilet was out of toilet paper Other than this the park itself is very lovely, tennis courts, a couple BBQs to use, some park benches. Pretty decent, but I don't recommend using the loo!
