Tusmore Park reviews
43Brought back some wonderful childhood memories! Looking forward to seeing the wading pool full after covid to take my 2.5yo there. Wonderful playground and large oval and space. All amenities needed when throwing a party for adults or kids.
Shady areas on a very hot day.green good pathways.parking for me accessible but possibly insufficient spaces.on the whole pleasant
Tusmore park is a great place for adults to relax and children to play. A stream flows through the park and brings a lot of fun. There are also about five tennis courts, a playground, a wading pool, some bridges, etc. You can play with water, barbecue, picnic, sports and so on. Parking is convenient in many places on the nearby streets.
Very nice park with kids playground, small water canel, ample of space, 4 courts and a lovely pool.
Best place weekend for family and kids.
Beautiful spot to read under a tree or have a summer picnic r birthday party. On hot days very popular with young families as the wading pool is perfect to cool down. It's free and clean (chlorinated). Bikes, tennis, footy, playgrounds.there's room for all activities.
Its a hidden beautiful park with a pool for kids and my kid loved the place very calm and quiet when i visited.
Had a great time with family and friends. Kids had great time in paddling pool. Loads of people there celebrating Australia Day.
Didn't mind this place. It has alot of walking space for little adventurers and alot of trees and space for picnics. Found the pool was great too but a bit concerning that there is no fence surrounding the pool. It's almost like waiting for an accident to happen. Wouldn't bring multiple children here, as you will need one set of eyes on one child at any given time as the park can be quite dangerous without the proper supervision. I don't understand that if we need a pool fence for pools deeper than 30cm on your yard, why they don't have a pool fence here? It only takes seconds for a child to drown and that's all it takes is a few seconds lapse of concentration and your child could be seriously hurt. Like I said if you wanted to enjoy a stress free day here with the kids, you will need alot of eyes to help with the supervision otherwise I wouldn't risk it.
Beautiful park, very well-taken care of, clean. It has an open pool for everyone to enjoy, it looks a bit shallow, though, so perfect for kids. Tons of space to roll out a mat and do yoga or just have a picnic.
Lovely park play areas, tennis courts, wading pool for summer months, BBQ areas. Lots of gorgeous tress and a big dogs of the lwase area.
Very good it has a sandpit a, slide, climbing net, a springing ladybug, a few swings and a thing that spins around
Great little park. Hidden away from the traffic. Fun, safe place for young kids to play in the free wading pool in the summer. Beautiful gum trees. Spotted a koala sleeping in a tree near the stone bridge during one visit.
Beautiful park with plenty of spaces for picnics, play equipment for young children and a shaded wading pool
This is a large park tucked away in Rushmore. The standout feature is a big, like really big, shaded paddling pool with a water feature (a simple fountain) in the middle. Ideal for toddlers up. There's a reek (mainly creek bed), a small playground, and plenty of lawn. There are public tennis courts off to one side.
So it's good for picnics but is pretty under resources. You may see that as a positive.
What an outstanding park. Lots of shade, great facilities and the kids loved the wading pool on a super hot day. Cannot recommend it enough.
Great facilities, plenty of room and nice shady trees. Lovely grass for picnics and the little kids wading pool is great in summer. Wonderful to have a free, enjoyable spot for the kids to cool off in summer. Perfect for picnics! Definitely one of the best parks in Adelaide.
Excellent place to take the kids in summer with well shaded areas, well kept greens, toddler friendly/ designed pool which is great for all ages. Plenty of space to let the kids run around and kick the footy or play some games.
LOVE this park! It's so cool that there is a shallow undercover swimming pool in the park. Lots of beautiful trees and a bridge which gives it a nice feel.
It's a good park for small children and having a picnic. It does get a bit crowded when there's a public holiday like Christmas or Easter.
