The Windsor Hotel reviews
76If I could leave a 1 star review I would. This place is trashy. Unhygienic, none of the staff have a clue including the chefs. Rude wait staff. Would not recommend save yourself the burden and find somewhere else
Food was of reasonable quality, schnitzel was very thin with thick coating. We asked for it not to be burnt and still received it over cooked which explains the long wait on a quite night. Salads were OK, bread stale. Far from the worst I have had but I wouldn't line up to eat here.
Seniors meal is excellent value and can recommend the beef schnitzel. Good to see they always offer a mid beer on special even at peak times like Christmas and New Year. Can get quite hot as the air con doesn't always cope.
Best FISH and Chips ever on wed nights
And only $12.90 for two lge pieces of
Very good guilty fish.cant wait until wed.
My rating is only for the Sunday market. Love the market, good fresh fruit and vegetables and especially love the Turkish food stall
Prawns over cooked, calamari under cooked, sauce was gritty and not smooth, chips were soggy and soaked in sauce, rib eye was cooked well done asked for medium. Veg bar was all warm not hot.
Disappointing for some of our party. Daughter ordered curry and wrong dish was delivered. She had to pay extra to get the dish she ordered even though it was the fault of the waiter. She shouldn't have had to pay at all.
Ordered the chicken kiev, firstly it was drowned in garlic sauce. Sliced it in half and it was only half cooked, the middle was completely raw. Asked for a beef schnitzel as a replacement. The schnitzel was at least deep fried long enough but it was approx only 3mm thick covered in very average crumbing. We couldn't remember why it had been so long between visits, it didn't take us long to remember. It's a nice looking place, but I will NEVER visit again for a meal.
We went there for a Melbourne Cup Luncheon.they booked more people in than they could cater for.we got our Main course
While the Melbourne Cup was being run and other tables we being served Desert. Far too much time between courses. And it wasn't worth eating. When we finally did get our food. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!
Kids meal was served 15mins after everyone elses meals, lasagne had no flavour, scotch fillet was dry even though it was ordered med rare. Waitress hit my arm when placing my meal on the table. Not a good experience 17 people
Service and meal was absolutely fantastic! Cant fault the service, meals were served quickly and schnitzel was hot and delicous.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
A group of 19 had Christmas lunch. Smorgasbord setting, lots of food and choices. Highly recommend and will being going back this Christmas
Had Christmas lunch at the Windsor as always great food great atmosphere and great staff do yourself a favour try the Windsor peter Robinson
Food quality is good, flavour moderate. Wait staff are truly unobservant and generally clueless. Seems like yet another place where management needs to lift their game.
Main meal was nice. One of are party's meals wasn't bought out we were told they it was no one claimed it. When the STEAK finally come it was the wrong one.
Dessert was nothing like the picture on the menu.
A few weeks ago i asked the Windsor to help with a family celebration get together. The result was magnificent! The staff were attentive and responsive they took care of all the arrangements and all the family had a great time. A standout was the steak meal. Many thanks to Brittany for all the help
