The Pickled Duck

Not a cheap place to eat, but the burgers are really good and worth the money. Always friendly and service is good. Their breakfast was really filling and really nice. A really good place to treat yourself on a Sunday morning.

Very nice place. Well prepared food. Good atmosphere. Good place to meet up with friends, have a laugh and a meal.

Great beetroot salad with a glass of wine. Grand kids liked the burgers.

Ate here as a group of 6 men and we all were happy with the taste of the food. I also pick up Uber Eats deliveries from here and the staff are always friendly towards me

Really good food.
Overall a good experience, and with only medium full space it felt quite chilled out. Not sure this would be when full.
Kids loved it but their chips didn't come with sauce.so after spending $130, I had to pay some more for a little cup of sauce.

Very disappointed we found our meal very average. We were also disappointed that no one had bothered to clean the floors dropped food where people had sat. We certainly will not be going back.

Good menu with lots of variety and options for different pallets.
Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor.

The table service app has a surcharge for paying with a card.not much but it just doesn't make sense to charge a premium via an app for that.

I do absolutely love this place and I've never had a bad food or service experience here. I went here tonight for the first time in a while and I'm disappointed that they've changed their loaded shakes. They are no longer loaded and are definitely not worth $14. From having cookies, donuts and a ton of cream and sauce on top to having three small pieces of chocolate. It's a bit ridiculous! I've attached the before and after loaded shakes.

A decent menu more options would be nice but staff and friendly and helpful seating areas are very good

Went to the Pickled DUCK. After 7 minutes or so the rest of the table had their food and we did not. They had nearly finished eating. So I went up to the counter and asked about the food. The kind lady said she was getting it, which I informed her I would like to speak to the manager about a full or partial refund.

She directed me to the manager who I asked for a full or partial refund. His response was- we are just getting it now for you. I responded with I would like a partial or full refund.

He then replied with there was a mistake with the machine and that is why it did not come out. I asked him- how is that my problem, my family has finished eating their food and I am waiting.

He then went on to say he cannot give me a refund as if he did he can not give me my food. SO I asked- I paid full price to have my meal arrive late did I?

He finished with- well we can give you some free drinks then.

I was really annoyed because he never apologised and took no ownership. He was also slightly dismissive and rude I thought as he was not really listening.

I would have had no issue if straight away he said- really sorry, machine broke, we apologise. You can have some drinks on the house.

If I did not push this would have never been offered.

The waiter did come out with the food eventually and ask if we wanted some drinks but we do not drink alcohol so did not take up this 'offer'.

Pretty annoyed and I could not find an email address as I would want to know if I was the owner

Had a farewell lunch for a collegue here today and the food was great, friendly and obliging staff

Our meals were fast, fresh and tasty. They were able to cater for a celiac and a vegeterian. With plenty of space to seat/cater for larger groups and familys and its just across the road from TTP.

Had a sitting of 3 adults and 4 kids and was pleasantly surprised at the bill!

Nothing great, went for breakfast and offered little outside sausage, bacon and eggs. Had the smashed av which was bland

I have been one of the Pickled Duck’s biggest supporters for a very long time so I am really upset to be writing this review. Went there for breakfast this morning with my sister and niece. We ordered and then waited around 40 minutes for our beverages to come out closely followed by our food. I ordered the veg burger which was supposed to have a fried egg on it but didn’t so I let them know and they brought me a fried egg, no worries. I then splashed some hot sauce on my hash browns, ate one and then realised that I had also splashed mould on my hash browns from the sauce bottle. I took it to the counter and they didn’t really say much except to offer me more hash browns. I wish I had taken a photo as I am now home waiting to see if I get sick from it. I am so sad about this as I have always chosen the Duck over the new restaurants at TTP but I am not sure I will be back this time.

Food was good, but expensive if you can't eat the huge portions. This is American style food, incase the name confuses you like it did me. Was really busy, good for families, not a date.

The food was amazing.one of the best burgers I have Ever had. The staff were nice and very efficient. The food came out quickly even though there were a lot of people.

Good place for breakfast. What let's it down is the coffee is a bit average and ordering hollandaise as a side whereas other places it comes standard
