Now it is a capitalist corporate organisation of the worst neo-liberal kind. No compassion, no empathy, and no regard for the idiosyncrasies and real-life struggles faced by all patients living under lower socio-economic circumstances (that Jonny Wong had given our families our whole lives, from childhood). Absolutely disgusted.

The only doctor here who has any respect for her patients would be Dr. Quintana, and was my go to for whenever I had an issue. However as a young person who doesn't frequently need to visit a doctors surgery, I was informed I am no longer able to see her, as I do not attend this clinic regularly. I am no longer able to see my preferred doctor, and every other GP here is rude, arrogant, and does not give you the time of day. Seems like getting as many visits/dollars as possible is the goal of this practice.

I was booked for a GP phone call and waited all day for it. When I ring the Front desk they said I have to pay $55 because I’ve missed the call, the GP couldn’t contact me and told me that I have to pay first before booking again for another appointment. But why do I need to pay if I didn’t received any call and was waiting for it the whole day?

I have followed the owners of the surgery for 39 Years and used to highly recommend them.
I have put recently put in 3 complaints to Maggie about the way that her reception staff speak to their clients and on all 3 occasions she sided with her staff. No matter what I said, I was wrong and her staff were right. The staff are not going to admit their bad behaviour to their employer!
It seems their staff can be rude to patients over the phone and in the surgery but don’t dare stick up for yourself and give it straight back to them.
Last call I ended up having an argument with Maggie and advised her that if this the way she allows her staff to speak to and treat patients I would be looking at taking my family to another practice.
I made an appt yesterday with a Dr for tomorrow morning thru the Hot Doc app to then get a call this morning from the office manager to advise they were cancelling my appt and not allowing me to see Drs at their surgery any longer.
I requested to speak to Maggie, I was placed on HOLD and when the office manager returned she advised that Maggie is not taking my call.
I have been under one Dr for some years now with my diabetes and now have to start all over again with another Dr. I advised this to the Office Manager that called me and her response was “this is no longer their problem” and terminated the call.
You are merely treated as a number and not a patient at this surgery!
If I could score a negative rating, I most certainly would!

Have been a patient of Northwest for years. Have never had an issue, but this evening booked a telehealth appointment following up on another one I had last week. Spoke with ANGELA on reception. My recent regular doctor wasn't available so I booked with another. The phone call was 3 minutes long and I asked for what I needed, he said goodbye and hung up after I got a text with a script - short but fine. Five minutes later I get a call asking me to pay a gap! I have never paid for a gap at the practice, and I explained this. Angela said different doctors charge differently, i explained maybe that would've been valuable to tell me BEFORE booking the appointment, when she can see I have been a patient for years. She then said if I don't pay the gap then and there it will be even more and I will need to pay before visiting the practice again. I explained she should have run through this with me before hand, she said "well some fault is on us and some is on you". I explained how am I to know the difference in doctors unless you, the receptionist working with full knowledge of this, tell patients. I said I won't be paying it or returning and she said "okay have a lovely night" in a condescending manner. Absolutely terrible service, communication and phone manner. Angela should 1. Know her practice policy and make patients aware and 2. Be kind. I hope she finds work more suited to her personality.

The only amazing dr here is Angela. One wouldnt give me a referral to an OB. Just found this medical centre lacks friendliness. My little one tested negative to covid and they still wouldnt let her come in to see a dr.

GP misdiagnosed squamous cell carcinoma. Never even did biopsy. Time for a change. Had been going for 20 years. Service and wait times had been getting worse. Wanted to charge $500 to transfer my records to new GP clinic. Disgraceful.

Even though I showed them my medical mask exemption certificate They would not let me see a Doctor. Absolutely disgraceful and evil. So I just went to another Doctor they didn't even ask to see my mask medical exemption.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Horrible doctor! Especially doctor Goyal, I hate the way she talks! If you can’t communicate with a patient well and understand their problem.why become a doctor! Especially when you are interacting with someone from a background where they have suffered from depression, PTSD and so on. She insults the patient and makes them feel very little.
I don’t understand why so many elderly patients go to her! Do you childrens know how she talks to your parents behind your back!? I bet once you hear her disrespecting them, you will change your GP!

Its close to me is all I can say, feel Im treated like a number, when I asked question about a covid jab a year ago I got a " your so privileged speech" from the doctor, no answers really. I just want a doctor to care about me, like my family doctor did, and ask how Im feeling, because he knew I know my own body, but these doctors they treat you like a number, and if your old and white forget about it. I now just take my annual leave when im sick its easier than finding a good doctor.: (

I made an appointment to see my regular doctor and some how I must have said it weird as I have extreme pain in my right jaw, have as a week to wait for dentist, went to get a repeat for antibiotics and panadeine forte, and receptionist was confused and said I booked this other doctor, well.he told me that he didn't know how many doctors i have seen for pain medication and he won't precibe any for me. Told me to take maxi gestics. Panadol ibrufen I have had one panadeine forte script in 7 years and that was week before for the dental pain. I am in agony, I have 2 more days of hell before dentist. I hate dr Gupta.

This clinic is a joke! I think the reviews speak for themselves!

The doctors do not care! Nor do the staff! They didn't even have soap in the toilets on multiple occasions!

Disgusting practice!

Absolutely disgusting
First of all the receptionist yells at every patient she “speaks” too - this is rude, condescending and gives personal details to everyone in the surgery

I rarely see the dr so when I go I need a hand!
Went to the one I see and was treated like a fool given a prescription for over the counter medication and told to try it - as it was prescription - was not helpful but happily charged for his non service

That reception girl thinks she can make decisions that drs should be making she is a serious problem to peoples health and so are their doctors
Do not recommend this for the sake of your health and care

Appalling.

A few hours AFTER taking my elderly mother to this clinic to see her Geriatrician, I had an interesting phone call from the North Western clinic. Apparently Mum's referral was out of date.

The person I spoke to wanted me to arrange for a new one on the same day or they would charge $$$$ for my sins.

They told me they had called Mum about it. IDIOTS. She sees the Geriatrician because she has Alzheimers.apparently still brighter than their office staff.

Can you guess what I told them?

Very rude receptionist, only female dr Angela is good. Very long waiting hours, rude Indian drs. Went their for my child’s health appointment plus vaccinations, that dr has no idea about regular immunisation schedule and health check up. 1.5hrs waiting at dr with little one ️. Strongly not recommended this place.

You call yourselves a medical practice that is "caring for your community" & "your vision is to provide comprehensive quality & affordable primary health care to your community". Yet you make a mother & baby wait in a car on a 30 Deg day. AND when she asks, refuse her the change area when her crying baby needs a nappy change? ! You should be ashamed of yourselves! Refresh your memory on the medical charter for which you work by. Disgusting human beings!

Due to covid we can no longer have face to face with our GP. Phone consults only. I walked in to collect a radiology form organised by our GP and informed them I have a toddler who needs a possible infected finger looked at and I was told unfortunately that will have to be a hospital visit. Really! The hospitals are struggling as it is. Got home and called to book a telehealth appointment. The sign on the door states open til 6: 30pm. I called at 6: 10pm Wednesday, hours stated on the message is til 8pm but yet says they are closed.
