**MUST GO ON YOUR RESTAURANT BUCKET LIST**

I purchased this experience for partners birthday as he is obsessed with meat/steak.
From the moment we walked in the door the amazing experience began - customer service was outstanding, we got there a little early so we indulged in a delicious cocktail.
The food was to die for. Seriously scrumptious and melt in your mouth! And I mean everything from your starters, entrée, main, sides and dessert - chocolate fondant was the best we've eaten - ever!

This place carter's for all society groups, we were on a date, but then there were families enjoying the food along with corporate dinners and Christmas celebrations.
As I said in my heading, if you love food then this place is an absolute must to put on your list of restaurants to dine in.

If you’re in Adelaide CBD and keen for a perfect steak for lunch, make your way to Meat And Wine Co. They have a very affordable 1-3 course lunch special which includes their marbled wagyu steak. For this quality of steak, you’d expect to be paying much more, but it becomes quite affordable with the lunch time prices. I will be visiting soon to try it out for dinner!

Best steak I've had in a long long time! You guys left me so happy with my choice, the only disappointment was see my plate empty. That steak just melted in mouth. Will definitely be going back. I had the wagyu rib eye.

Amazing atmosphere and outstanding food. The staff were attentive and the drinks were perfect. Would 100% recommend this place for a romantic date night or a place to take your girlfriends for a special night out.

Seriously incredible! The environment they have created is so unique and beautiful, just to sit inside is amazing. The staff are friendly and professional, and omg the food was such high quality, every mouthful was to die for. We are already planning when we're next free to book in and can't wait.

Beautiful atmosphere the interior design is worth a look.
The establishment is clean, the staff friendly, amazing range of beverages and the steaks WERE THE BEST IVE EVEN HAD!

We were very impressed with the service, attention to detail and the food was outstanding. It was our anniversary and the chef presented a special dessert to us. Very impressed. (Side note - I asked for my steak to be very, very well done)

The food was good for the price. I got the $49 express lunch. The waiter asked me what sauce I wanted with my steak and I was later surprised to see an $8 charge on the bill for the sauce. I thought this should have been explained considering I specifically requested the $49 lunch. I also wasn't warned about a $1.50 surcharge when my card was tapped.

I'm not a fan of the atmosphere. Their website talks about a $30M restoration of a classic building, but none of the classic architecture was visible from within the restaurant. The place has no sunlight and the decorations and music make it feel like an R&B night club, which was especially depressing on a sunny afternoon. There is also an extremely narrow set of stairs to enter and exit the building which felt quite dangerous. Both my wife and I almost slipped.

The beef ribs were very nice and juicy. The prawns were so fresh and yummy. I like the cocktails, which were sweet and sour.

The service needs improving.

It was only 5.15pm because that was the only time we could get a reservation, so the restaurant wasn't even full at the time. Staff seemed lost although it's been open for a few months now.

We got served water and then it took another 20 mins for someone to come back to ask us about drinks, and then another 20 mins for us to order our meals. While we were waiting for someone to please come to our table there were a couple of big tables around us with 10-14 people, and like 4-5 wait staff bringing them food multiple times. When they were leaving their tables not one of them served us or the table sitting next to us on the way back. The table next to us had their dirty plates sitting in front of them for ages, just waiting to ask someone for a dessert menu, looking around for someone to notice them - and one of many staff serving those big tables around us could have noticed that when they were going back and forth many times. They had to physically put their hand up to ask someone to clear their table and bring them a dessert menu, while we were still waiting to order our drinks & meals 30 minutes after coming into the restaurant. And there shluld be better service when people are paying 80-90 dollars per head.

The entrees were beautiful, we ordered tuna tartare and prawns. Steak was overcooked especially around the edges, they were fully well done when we asked for medium. Only slightly pink in the centre. But it was tasty and the sauce were beautiful too

Not sure if I would be returning, might give it a couple more months for staff to be trained better.

My wife and I attended for an anniversary. We frequent meat wine and co in Melbourne when visiting and were very happy to see they opened in Adelaide. Full disclosure, I am a formal dining chef.
We arrived and asked for tap water to drink. Neither my wife or I drink alcohol. Next a $15 bottle of still water arrives. I've instantly rejected it.to the staffs credit they removed it from the bill and allowed us to keep it.
We ordered ribs, a fillet and truffle Mac and cheese.
The steak was perfect and as expected. Bravo
The ribs were served to me service fridge cold. They had been flashed, for what I'm guessing, 30 sec either side on the grill. This was discovered after I had cut the ribs into strips. I was forced to return my $45 ribs to actually get them served hot. While they reheated my already cut ribs, half the meat was left on their grill and I received literally 3 mouthfuls of ribs for $45.
A friend suggested the truffle Mac and cheese.never again will I listen to my friends suggestions. Overcooked Mac, gluggy sauce and absolutly no salt at all. This is day one trade school. This was the most disappointing because it's such a simple thing to make.
Over all, very very disappointed for a $60 a head meal. We went to oconnel bakery on the way home to get a pie because we were still hungry. Imagine $120 and you leave hungry.one job to do chef's.feed your clients.
Staff were great, honestly, but I went for the food, not a smile.ill not be reattending. Sad because Melbourne is faultless.

Amazing food, great service, nice decor. We were in large group so we were seated in the semi private room on a large beautiful table with coat hangers included in the room (I thought that was a nice touch). We had the 3 course menu for $115 and there was so much food! We were happy to come back a couple weeks later with another group of friends, and again, it was a great experience!

Good value lunch express with a drink. The entrees are more interesting and tastier than the mains. The basting on the steak was a bit sweet. The service from some are good some are not.

Food was good, not all instructions were followed. Service was absent. We asked for the kids meals with the entrees and got them with the mains. Drinks took a long time to come out. Table water was given at the beginning but didn't have enough to fill all glasses so the waitress said she would return with more but she didn't. Staff serving the food and drinks did not know what they were serving when brought to our table. When questioned the response was oh yeah that's what it is.

Big group booking of 14 people.
Shared most dishes.
All entrees fantastic. My main (dry aged ribeye) was overcooked and unfortunately was disappointing. Person next to me had the same main amd was cooked correctly, which I tried and made a huge difference. WIR? Yes to give it another shot as their food quality is good, I just unfortunately lucked out on my main.

FYI corkage is $30 if you want to being your own bottle to ease the burden as their wine price points are quite high
