Very good reception room. Motel room cosy but our room suffered from noise from air conditioning? Or refrigeration unit.

We booked for a 4 course meal paired with wines. The first course was horrible, the second was pumpkin gnocchi which was rubbery and bland, third course was steak and was ok. Dessert was panacotta that has way to much gelatine. Two of the pairings of wine did not suit the food. All in all it was very disappointing for the money.
If you are planning a wedding go else where! Maybe they need to consider getting a better chef?
Also the evening was cold and the restaurant is not heated well.we were cold all night. Made a bad meal even worse.

Beautiful space, one of a kind in the Adelaide Hills. Fantastic to host your events or just for a day out

Best accommodation I've ever stayed in. Amazing bathroom with spa, two balconies and a castle that would melt anyone's heart. Very well kept premises and amazing building. Proposed to my man and he said yes! Definite recommendation!

Great meal as part of the dine with us menu.
All courses were impeccable, wine was great and staff were attentive and friendly.
Highly recommended

Lovely food, venue and staff. Had a fantastic 3 course lunch in front of a very cosy fire. Will definitely be back.

If you're waiting for a call back after an inquiry don't hold your breath. They clearly don't need the business.

Nice location. But quite dissapointing. Rooms have been renovated unfortunately attention to detail is poor. Could definitely be cleaner too. No reception. Breakfast was very basic. Wouldn't pay this much to stay again. Paid extra for spa room and has no view and is tucked into a corner.

I'm short on words for this one.wait that's a joke. I could talk for a long time about why people should consider getting married at The Manor Basket Range. In my opinion it sits at the top of the list for being one of the most charming, versatile, romantic, beautiful and accomodating venues I've ever had the honour of photographing in. It's breathtaking and needs to be experienced in person to get a full appreciation of. Simply stunning! Whatever the weather throws at you on your wedding day; too hot, windy, too wet.you've got plenty of options for a ceremony that will keep everyone happy and comfortable. Naomi and her team will be the stars of the experience. EVERY time I'm there for a wedding, they take such good care of me and make sure that I'm well looked after. They're clearly taking even better care of their guests which is a win for everyone!

Love this stunning Castle up in the Adelaide Hills. It has everything for a perfect wedding/function. The chapel in the leafy garden with the pond filled with fishes, surrounded by blooming flowers. Picturesque and romantic. There's a bell you can ring once the deed is done. There's newly refurbished/ renovated rooms are just so comfortable. I did not want to leave the bed.

We just had our wedding at the Manor and everything was perfect! From the first enquiry, right throughout the planning stage Naomi kept in constant contact and answered all our questions. When the day arrived Naomi was exceptional! Always made sure everything was going to plan, setup everything beautifully and helped with anything required. Toward the end of the night all our guests said the food was amazing and they loved the service from all the staff. This venue was definitely our favourite decision! Thank you so so much!

My stay at The Manor was nothing short of a fairy tale. My sister had the most spectacular wedding at this stunning venue and my goodness were we all taken care of! Outstanding food, beautiful staff (who were so thoughtful making sure I had everything I needed - I'm vegan), and the rooms were just divine. It really was a magical experience. I couldn't more highly recommend The Manor for a romantic, luxurious weekend away or, if you're getting married, the perfect place for your wedding reception. I know where I'll be staying when I'm next in SA!

Thank you again to the wonderful team at The Manor for taking such good care of everyone. Your attention to detail and clear passion for what you do is outstanding.x

I was fortunate to be a part of a Wedding which was held at The Manor. The Bride and Groom were so relaxed about their big day as they were confident that they were in great hands with Naomi who was on top of even the smallest details. The Venue was so special and unique which was appealing to differentiate it from other weddings I had been to. The room was stylishly decorated and the food was sensational. A major added bonus was that we were able to stay in very spacious on site accommodation which had top notch amenities and was the perfect end to a great wedding.

What a stunner tucked away in the beautiful Adelaide hills.
The Adelaide hills has so much to offer; amazing food, great wine, exciting walks and then a great place like this one to relax in after a busy day exploring the hills.
The room was so lux with an amazing bath to soak in and very comfy bed. Topped off a great short stay getaway.

You'll fall in love with the place and won't want to leave. Simple as that. Most apartments are self-contained, no stove but toaster, microwave, etc. They provide a light continental breakfast but bring extra milk, coffee, sugar, etc. Awesome!

We had our wedding here and it was honestly the best day of our lives! The atmosphere and gardens were breathtaking, the food was delicious and the accommodation was luxurious! The staff could not have done more for us and our guests on the day to make it spectacular. Highly recommended for the most memorable, amazing experience you will ever have.

My wedding party stayed the night before my wedding late February 2019.
We booked two rooms for the bridesmaids, flower girl and myself.
We had not a problem with mozies until 11.30pm-12.
The rooms were absolutely infested!
In the bridal room I had undoubtedly 40 flying around my head!
The flower girls face got bitten so much when I ran out the room to check the girls and she looked like she was covered in hives all over her face.
I woke one of my bridesmaids (sister) as she is allergic to them and by that time she needed to be hospitalized and couldn't move her hands/arms.
I then ran down to the other girls room and they could not sleep their room was absolutely also infested also!
We immediately got my sister off to hospital, herbal remedies on the flower girls face and my bridesmaids hid my face under the sheet for hours whilst they tried killing an endless supply of mosquito's. Blood splatter from them ended up everywhere.
We rang the emergency number listed from the accommodation and the lady on the other end of the phone stated she has not been a caretaker there for a very ling time but will try and get hold of management to help us.
Some bridesmaids hid in their car for the early hours of the morning, another drove to Mt Barker and Adelaide to find somewhere open for repellents, etc.
We did not successfully get hold of management that night at all and we were all welted and extremely tired for the wedding day that next morning. No sleep at all and we had an arvo wedding!
We requested a refund which they sadly denied. They stated it was our fault as the doors were left open. However, this was only the case for bringing things inside the accommodations for the wedding as we had the aircons on during the checkin arvo. We know this wasn't the case as we hadn't one problem until that night. It looked like they were coming through a hole in the wall in one room aswell as up both bathroom drains in both bathrooms. The next morning the flower girl was playing with another families daughter who stayed in the accommodation and they had the same problem, the child had red spots everywhere all over her face aswell. It was truly the most terrible experience and if I hadn't woken and woke everyone up we would have looked much more spotty and welted for the wedding day!

Absolutely loved it!

Firstly our room was 2 stories! So cool! The shower was huge! Towels were huge (not those poxy tea towels to dry yourself with.)

The bed was awesome! So snuggly! It was freezing outside but so cozy inside.

The grounds were beautiful (I did do a little cheeky ring of the chapel bell!). They even have a little waterfall pond set up near it (so cute), plus they have a water fountain in the main drive way, that makes sitting under the verandah in front of the rooms so relaxing.

And the chandelier in the main reception *dies* It’s just beautiful. The whole place is a wonder. I loved it.

I will be going back, no doubt about that!
