The Kentish Hotel

Food, beer and staff are all really great, but the pub doesn't really have any soul. It's white and dull. I was looking forward to visiting the Kentish for quite a while and it rather leaves you wanting. For such a historic hotel it's a pity there is none of it on display.

Superbly cooked meals. Wonderfully friendly staff. Thank you to Emily in particular who was amazing managing such a large group by herself. Highly recommended.

This place has changed so much since it was my local. Still like it but for different reasons. Food is good and draught Guinness!

Just had another amazing meal including wine delivered to our home. We had piping hot delicious chicken parmigiana that melted in the mouth and the most tender salt and pepper calamari, all meals served with crispy fresh salad and chips. Keep up the good work!

Don't get me wrong the wine garden is great. The staff are what gives this place some life to and old outdated back street pub. The Chicken burger I ordered was way over priced for what came out. Tiny bit of battered chicken on a bed of pickled pineapple and avocado. The avocado was jest cut in half and placed ontop of a pineapple ring. It didn't work. Sorry I wish I could have given it more. I think my expectations where set to high going in and I left very dissapointed

Had the rump steak with a glass of red, excellent special with good price, well cooked with chips and salad.

Love the food.great staff. P a ruling easy when going on a non regular night out for trendiest. Don't know about those times for parking. Bookings essential on the weekends

The wine shed was a perfect venue for our wedding reception. All our guests were blown away by the room set-up. It looked incredible! The staff went above and beyond to make our special night unforgettable. Ayla was brilliant to work with as she was well organised and very accommodating. We would strongly recommend The Kentish as an outstanding wedding reception venue.

Very nice place to come if you want a quiet time with your family an friend's, but it nice to see the back street pubs still hanging in there

One of my favorite pubs outstanding friendly customer service and beautiful food and a good beer and wine selection a very good hotel for functions will be going back again and again

Only in town for a couple of nights and happened to be staying around the corner but would go back for some of the best pub food I’ve had anywhere in Australia, very friendly staff too, which is always a bonus

Great value for money with big servings of main meals. They even have yummy vegan options like the fried tofu burger. Fantastic wine selection. The only negatives would be the food could have had stronger flavours and it would be better if the lounge part was closed off a bit from the bar area as it was very noisy. The staff were friendly and gave us great customer service will definitely eat their again.

Moorish chips! Great standard beers with a few craft extras. Excellent staff. A nice outdoor seating area.peaceful and surrounded by trees and galahs. A great local hot spot.

Just delightful. A drink and a chat outdoors. Lovely staff. Fresh cold beer. Hot salty chips. Perfect.

Food was excellent, service was great and they were really busy but still smiled and made time for my big table. All in all a great day

Can’t recommend the Kentish highly enough as a function venue. We had a party for 100 people. The food was great. The options for the bar were flexible. The room hire is reasonable for the beautiful space. Most importantly the staff are wonderful, professional and accommodating. Thankyou Ayla and team for making our night so much fun and so easy.

We had our engagement party here for 100+ people. Could not recommend the venue and staff highly enough. Ayla and the team were fantastic. From the planning to the night itself - friendly, accomodating and so organised.

Came on a Sunday afternoon and sat outside in the shade. We ordered the charcuterie and cheese board at $40. Bit let down as I found the meats on the board were not as fresh as I would have liked, but overall not bad for the price. We had a bottle of Estandon Rose at $45 which is a bit pricey. The staff were lovely and friendly and would recommend people to try this place out in beautiful North Adelaide.

I've been to "The Kentish" on-&-off since 1971. Atmosphere! Great staff! A well-rounded well-evolved Hotel.
