The Gums reviews
35Plenty of open green space. Good playground for the kids. Decent public toilets and parking.
Large park with lots of shady trees. One large sheltered area with picnic tables and BBQ. Toilets near carpark.
My best friend, Spencer Ketoweth could not locate the Consulate! I disliked this experience as Spencer and I could not Mung healthily
Good facilities beautifully maintained. Barbeques, shelters, playground and automatic toilets, with many old established gums providing flora for different bird species.
Great relaxing reserve with a toilet, playground And Veterans Memorial.
Often very popular.
Very spacious picnic areas. There's around 4 BBQs scattered around, benches, a decent playground and plenty of shade (from huge gum trees)
I been here for nearly 3 years, from February 2020 to now. This park has swing, chairs, BBQ area, basketball court. When the sunset comes, before the night falls, this park just become a paradise.
My basketball skill was practice in this wonderful place, this court let me grow 1 more centimeter from the age 23 to 25. Now I will go to Melbourne, but I will never forget this park, hopefully one day I will come back and see this “picturesque” area.
Lovely park located among some back streets that has some large trees as the name suggests. A good playground for little kids, a basketball ring, picnic tables and an undercover area make for a scenic public space though I didn't see any toilets nearby. Well worth a look for a relaxing time out.
A lovely reserve. Lots of beautiful old gum trees, good picnic/BBQ facilities. A toilet, fenced playground, and memorial garden. Fantastic!
Clean, lots of space, facilities are OK, but need more to do. Other surrounding parks are much more interesting.
Great. Quiet except for a large group of 20 friends or family having a picnic. But the public toilet was shut for no apparent reason. Broken?
Lovely park, clean and tidy, dogs allowed.
Well done the Campbelltown council for providing such a lovely facility that allows dogs.
Good space, 4 x BBQ's basket ball hoop and a play area more for younger kids, talking toilet as well.
Lovely big Park with creek, Third creek, and large gums. Great for a dog walk or play. Room for balls and picnic.
Great large open outdoor space with native trees and bushes. Plus a nice playground and a basketball court and a covered area with tables too.
Fabulous, took my Mum on a picnic and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and tidy with good facilities. A little bit of total peace in the midst of a busy day.
Lovely place to satisfy those of all ages. Enclosed park for the kids, basketball court for the big kids, and BBQs for that family event. Toilet was clean and easy access. Downside was the irresponsible dog owners who do not pick up after their pets. Be careful of landmines!
My son loves this park. The tall trees offer some great shade during summer. Good place for a birthday party or any other party. Playground and outdoor fitness equipment are a good combination for parents taking their young ones. The war memorial garden at the location adds to its beauty.
The Gums at Tranmere, N. E.suburb of Adelaide is a beautiful park with many majestic red river gums.great place for a picnic, playground, limited toilets but sufficient for a private family reunion yesterday!
This park has beautiful trees and well kept grounds, a playground, an outdoor gym, covered picnic tables, a sheltered picnic shed, and if I remember right, a free bbq. It has a war memorial area, toilets suitable for the disabled, parking. Across the road is a large nature reserve. I heard the kookaburras calling.
