The hotel is spotless for a start. They're very Covid aware, and the staff are just lovely friendly, and cheerful. The food was absolutely delicious, I have been here before and will definitely be back.

A great chilled place for a quick meal, a relaxed Sunday session or you can book a space for a private function with a few event spaces to chose from. The food is decently priced and plated quite well.

If you are looking for a place to hold a function, these guys are awesome! The process from booking to delivery was seamless and stress free. The service on the night was efficient, friendly and fun! The food was great and the decorating of the room right down to our logo on the menus was above and beyond my expectations. We will be back!

We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday last night at
"The Grove". The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. They set up a private function area, they filled our balloons with helium and organised them. They did a slide show after i supplied the photos, and they cut up her cake and presented it beautifully with extras, to our guests. The meals were great and reasonably priced. Highly recommend using there function rooms if your holding an occasion. I know i will be booking again if I ever need a function room.

I celebrated my 50th in the gardern. The venue has a great relaxed atmosphere. It is always clean and presentable. The food was delicious. The room was decorated well. Great prices. Thanks for making my day dpecial

I was very happy with staff and the way the premise was set up with having only a small number of people in the room. A small serve of food was offered to the group of five people l was drinking with. SMART MOVE

My steak was cooked to the way i liked but my wife's salt and pepper squid including our chips were soggy and cold. It seemed as though both were just heated rather than deep fried. A bit disappointing.

Good food normally. Very disappointing on this occasion. Salt and pepper squid was a chewy oil bath and the fish and chips was small pieces of over cooked fish with cold chips. Will go back but not great this time. Hopefully the head chef will be on next time.

Alex and his team made my 30th birthday so easy! All I had to do was rock up! The food was amazing and catered to different dietary requirements. Couldn’t be happier of recommend this venue more.

Food is of good quality although the drinks are pricey compared to other nearby pubs. Carpark is a joke with current construction at present.

Great food staff were very friendly, helpful and even treated my 8yo grandson with respect. Would highly recommend it

Special function room was a bit crowded, shame the blinds didn't go just half way, as very windy open and hot when shut.

It's alright. We had a large group (45-ish) so the food wasn't the best but the service was really amazing. Would definately like to come back to try again!

Great place for end of week drinks. Quick, friendly service at the bar and prompt delivery of food too. Recommended!

Great atmosphere, Food was good but nothing above the ordinary pub food and the portions quite small for the price.
