The Gatsby Lounge reviews
27Diem (with the fresh tat) and all the other staff were fabulous! The chefs menu was perfectly balanced and great wine suggestions to pair. We will be back and recommending! Cheers team
Came here with my partner for dinner and opted for the Chef's selection. Food was absolutely delicious and very good value for money. Staff were very friendly helpful. We will definitely be back:)
Me and my friends had a few drinks at this place last night and we loved it! The staff is really friendly and the drinks are really good they made us some fabulous Pisco sours.
Says doors open at 6pm but the door is still locked and guests are entering through your fire escape? Club lighting left on from the previous night? DO NOT bother even considering going here for a meal. Unless you want to pay $65pp for mouthful food (and I mean literally a mouthful) that are inedible.
Tuna - warm, slimy and off smelling
Beef skewer - crucified
Fried chicken - stick to KFC
My family booked here for a celebratory dinner and left not even half way through our meal as this food was simply disgusting.
Although the waitresses were apologetic it didn’t make up for the daylight robbery that is this restaurant/establishment is undertaking.
I will never return or recommend this to anyone and I highly suggest you look elsewhere for your dinner reservations.
Old sport can't cope.
We rocked up, escorted downstairs with promises of dollar oysters and purple drinks.shame.quickly denied both sea creatures AND any libations.
The bartender advised that they were all out of oysters and purple gin. Coffin bay and melbourne st were both too much of a logistic hassle for this business owner to bother with during tasting aus week.
Good luck staying open!
Dodge it.
It was supposed to be our company's Christmas function. However, they seated us in the corridor outside the kitchen, and it was also a thoroughway for another large group upstairs. We were even told it was the "VIP" seating. Needless to say, we were better off leaving. Management for this restaurant should rethink how they treat their customers.
