The Gatsby Lounge

First time visiting Adelaide, staying up the road. Walked past this place numerous times finding the frontage a little like some underworld x rated club. Wasn't I truly mistaken. It may look like a sketchy place from the road but PLEASE don't let that put you off. The food is amazing and the cocktails are to die for. The service is sensational. Thank you for a great night.

Like others have said, don't go to the "all you can eat" expecting to eat much at all apart from chips and bread. Cocktails were nice, music a bit loud but okay. However calling it all you can eat when you have one waiter walking around with a 9 inch pizza trying to share it amongst 40+ people is a joke.

Enjoyable, fantastic barteners to waitresses, canape foods where fresh with nice flavours. A great venue.

I attended an Engagement party here.
Whilst there were only 3 ppl in the other room, the DJ there insisted on upping his volume and being louder than the music we had going in our area for the 50+ ppl at the party. There were some other issues with management saying one thing but doing another, so i’d suggest getting things in writing if dealing with this venue.
For those with ambulatory issues, big staircase to enter/exit the venue.

I visited last night was told $10 walk in entry and free shot on entry, got charged $40 for two people they swiped my card before showing me price then there was no free drink just left our whole group with a bad taste for the rest of the night. Wish it could have been better or this issue could have been fixed.

Best Margarita ever in my life. I went with my friend last night, everything was awesome, very good experience. No matter is the service, drinks or the food were fabulous. Will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone

I just loved it, we went on Saturday night, very nice vibe, good food and amazing friendly service. Very nice cocktails, I ordered an Old fashion and it was on the spot. The Great Gatsby has a nice looking and the manager is very attentive and caring. Thanks guys, we are looking forward to go back again.

The attention to detail in the decor is impressive, and the staff is always dressed to impress. The cocktails are expertly crafted and delicious, with a great selection of classic cocktails as well as unique and creative options. I ordered the Great Gatsby and it was absolutely amazing. The presentation was beautiful and the taste was even better. The prices were reasonable for the quality of drinks and service. The live music was also a great touch, and really enhanced the overall experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making sure our glasses were always full. I highly recommend Gatsby Lounge to anyone looking for a sophisticated and memorable night out. It's the perfect place to dress up, sip on delicious cocktails, and enjoy some great live music.

We were a table of 4 for dinner tonight for a very underwhelming and over priced menu. The entree vs main menu was contradictory. Looks like a great venue for an event or part but a very average restaurant experience.

Definitely worth trying. Great vibes and hospitality from all staff. Chef Jose has got the chefs menu on lock. Appreciate Diem
for looking after us with exceptional class. Will be again again soon!

On line Menu states 6 courses for $79 but increased to $89 for only 5 courses.
Food was nice but portion size and value for money was poor

Excellent new menu! Food was superb, just what can be expected of a placed called “Gatsby”, nice presentation and full of flavour. Drinks didn’t disappoint either, barman came to our table with our cocktail in a dome full of smoke, it was cool and tasty.

First time coming but definitely not last one

Love this truly GEM ️. Foods were Amazing. Staffs were so friendly and helpful with recommending or changing the meals in my Chef Special order. Chef Special is the great idea if you wanna taste 5 different meals including entrees. Love the steak which was melted in mouth and seafood was fresh. Especially, they have great bartender who can make you a special drink. Love the decoration and live music on the weekend.

Large basement venue, nice ambience and comfortable seating. Helpful staff. I found the orange dystopian mocktail to be overly sweet for my taste

The whole dame journey has been the most amazing hospatality experience I have ever come across. The function manager "Sarah" has been nothing but the best to deal with. Shes made my life easy with organising everything. Its just been so smooth and she was so delightful to deal with.
I have been here before and the changes made to the menu is on point. Food was finger licking delicious. What a privilige meeting Chef Jose and Chef Esteban. Great seeing these 2 chefs that know there produces and uses seasonal fresh local ingredients. Love your new menu. The service I got from the 2 waitresses "Sui" and "Diem" was top notch. Best service ever! Lastly, "David" the bartender makes the most amazing cocktails and drinks. If you ask him for a "David special" he will know how to look after you! Thanks everyone and I will definitely be coming back many more times with friends and family!

We were there Saturday night enjoying our last date night together before we get married this weekend. The staff went above and beyond to make our night memorable and gave us a fabulous experience. Not only did they look after my who has dietary requirements, the service they provides was amazing. From the moment we arrived we were taken care of by the fabulous lady at the front and then Michael who was one of the best waiters we have had and we eat out a lot. The food was full of flavour and couldn't fault any of it.
Will definitely be back again.

I organised an 18th and 50th birthday party here in the last few months and rarely have I seen a function manager (Sarah) be as caring and meticulous at creating the perfect tailored event. Custom menu, custom drinks package - even custom cocktails!

Both times we had unusual requests which she enthusiastically organised for us. No request was too hard. I would highly recommend them for any event that needs that special touch. Thanks Sarah & team! ️
