The Bridgewater Inn reviews
41One of the best places in adelaide. Menu is bit limited but overall its the best in adelaide hills. Staff is very welcoming and understanding. Location is beautiful being on a bank of creek. It has two levels of beer garden and there is an outside beer bar which is amazing.
Came to this place after a couple of years, and I should say, "In time, quality of food and customer service have gone down drastically. " The only thing still the same is the location and atmosphere.
Atmosphere was excellent, top level away from the family groups below, very relaxing, service was good, variety of tap beers acceptable
Just used the bottle shop but the guy behind the register is a riot, nice guy and good fun
Such a beautiful hidden gem. There are fire places all over, so many different sections to dine in. Food came out really quickly and tasted good. Customer service was fantastic.
My wife & I, highly recommend the delicious food and awesome service at The Bridgewater Inn.
We have been lucky enough to have been served by Millie in the Cellar Restaurant our last couple of visit. Her enthusiasm & bright cheerful energy were a delight which topped off our fantastically cooked steaks.
If your in the area, do your self a favour & stop in, you wont regret it
Food was great but took almost 2 hours to come out from ordering. The kids were making life very difficult while waiting.
Really lovely location, wonderful staff, food was quick to arrive. The cocktails were very yummy. They do a really good vegan cauliflower schnitzel and a V2 schnitzel. You can turn them into parmis with vegan cheese.
Great food, perfect venue! It was a hot day and being a group of third age, retired friends, we opted to eat more safely outside! Cox Creek, which runs alongside the outdoor dining area was flowing, which added to the area's ambience. Substantial shady umbrellas and soft, water mist constantly emanating from the overhead system between the tables kept us cool and comfortable! What a clever idea! Christmas week and very busy lunch trade but both food and service were excellent! We didn't have to wait very long at all once we had selected our choice from the broad and varied menu. Cost was most reasonable with seniors options available. Sorry no pics!
Beautiful building. Pub style food. Followed strict COVID guidelines and staff went above and beyond.
Very disappointed today after having our booking for 6 being confirmed yesterday (Monday) to arrive after travelling some distance to find CLOSED for cleaning since Sunday night till Thursday not very good customer service just to make a courtesy phone call.several other customers with bookings arrived while we were there none had received a call. Checking Web page still says OPEN
Beautiful place to sit inside or outside and watch the world go by. Gets very fresh during the evenings though.
Don't advertise on your menu cauliflower steak and then serve me florets, they are not the same. Secondly don't charge me $26 for a bowl of barely seasoned cauliflower with scraps of salad and for heaven sakes clean your toilets so they don't stink like a sewerage pit. Disappointed and disgusted.
Stay away!
One of my very favourite places in the Adelaide Hills. Plenty of parking, great service, specials each night of the week & music on Sunday's as well as peaceful views. Option of indoor or outdoor dining. Great atmosphere! Thanks for making my evening a special one!
Nice place to visit. Good variety on the menu and good service. Definitely worth a visit and on a cooler day the beer garden would be great. One of the best beer gardens I've seen.
Went for my birthday lunch today, food was inedible, two of us ordered Mushroom Fusilli pasta, it was dry, bland and inedible, we mentioned this to the staff member on collection of our plates who shrugged it off & said they would tell the chef. Another had the pork ramen took one mouthful and left the rest. Left hungry and upset we paid good money for disappointing meals.
The gape between entered and main too short.crayfish smelt of amonia mentioned to staff member non meaningful sorry
Nice Beer Garden and outdoor area, but we waited 45 minutes for basic pub food that ended up coming out lukewarm at best. Pretty disappointing when we made the special trip out.
Nice historic pub in a beautiful location and beautiful on grounds. Nice atmosphere and two on-site carparks. Wheelchair accessible. Friendly staff and good food.
