The Boulevard Cafe on the lake

Found this restaurant by chance. Outside of town. All other dinning options were booked out.
Glad we did. Meal was great, service wea excellent

Pretty disappointed here. Tables were sticky, staff were disinterested in customer service, I believe the forgot to make our drinks as we didn't receive them until till after we had been finished eating when there was only couple other patrons in the store? We had also asked for takeaway cups but served in mugs. Food was good value for its size and the burger was good but the experience was no good

Arrived late for lunch, no problem, delicious calamari dish, lovely ambience, friendly staff, recommended

Went 2x first time went with sister hot chocolate perfect. Next time was awful (Sat) my takeaway mug had boiling water and milk they forgot to add chocolate and marshmallows.

After a hike at The Bluff i was delighted with the service and scrumptious meal. As i've worked in the kitchen before as a breakfast chef, it's not often i come across a cafe that i can honestly say i enjoyed that meal, so compliments to the chef/cook. The eggs were perfectly poached with a slither of ooze
Fresh food, quick service, friendly atmosphere.

Cakes and treats all looked day old. Chai latte was luke warm but the rest in my party enjoyed hot drinks. Just okay but not special

Had a lovely milkshake here today in a metal container, the best way. It was generous at a good price and very cold.
The service was very friendly too.
June 17th Visited for lunch and coffee today. Pork rice bowl and chicken satay both came with salad on the side and were very nice. Long black coffee and spearmint milkshake both excellent.

I have tried so hard to like this place since I live within walking distance but it is always so disappointing.uncleared tables, untrained staff, ordinary food and barely drinkable Chai latte (I don't drink coffee so can't comment on coffee). The decor is beyond drab and service is slow too. Such a shame because the location is great. I keep going in the hope it will improve!

After a big day/night of drinking at the redhotsummertour & forgetting snacks for the Shak, this Big Breakie this morning saved our stomachs perfect eggs, toasted sourdough, spinach, tomatoes, hashbrowns, bacon & those brown plump mushrooms were very tasty! Great soy cappuccino too! Where coming back for Lunch lol. ️

Food was amazing with great service. Tried the bubble tea was so so so delicious! Must try! Nice place will be back.

Went there yesterday for vegetarian wraps which have been delicious in the past. Last 2 visits they have been filled with lettuce and minimal roasted vegetable. Such a shame.

As we regularly have corn fritters at the Boulevard cafe unfortunately today they were minus the corn and quite bland! The manager informed us the recipe hasn't changed? Not sure about that!

Toasty was just done cheese hadn't even melted, coffee was milk no flavour lacking taste of coffee was very week

Surprised. Cafe large and close to the lake. Milkshake was great. Main course of lambsfry, bacon, roast potatoes and onion rings was not so good. Lambsfry very dry, thin, too many and I think peppercorn sprinkled on top. The onion rings where onions were not cooked. Disappointed to say the least.

Lovely atmosphere, make sure you reserve a table before you go, even if it is early in the morning! This place was jam packed. Good coffee and light breakfast options.

Thanks again to The Boulevard Cafe for another first class meal.
They catered recently for our Golf Club Dinner at our venue and the 43 guests attending had only high praise for the menu selections, price, quality of the food and presentation and friendly service.
Big thanks to Simon the chef and his staff for a memorable evening.

Great cafe, simple menu, smiling staff so I will be back. Ppp by for breakfast and coffee

Had a nice potato leek and bacon soup with hot crusty bun while waiting for mechanic, really hit the spot too.
