The Boatshed Wallaroo reviews
36Will not return I personally found it overpriced and poor quality. Have had better seafood at literally any cafe on YP.
Great for fish and chips - well priced and very tasty - lovely view while waiting for take away
Great place. Apparently it changed hands and names a few times but great food and the service was the highest I've seen in a light year. Great work esp the junior member. Very Efficient! God Bless
A great place to stop and enjoy FRESH fish and chips. Had a great meal here that the whole family enjoyed. The new owners are great and very thoughtful.
Rocked up after closing, new owners offered us a pizza even though ovens were off. Super friendly, nice chat. Pizza was perfect. Thank you. Definitely come again. (:
A great Sunday drive all the way from Adelaide for lunch. Service was very friendly, engaging and the food was very fresh, hot and delicious. The atmosphere was great and location is perfect! Will definitely be back soon
Took visitors for dinner. Was pleased to be outside on a gorgeous evening. That, unfortunately was the best part. Service was mediocre.food was appalling, greasy, didn't get what we ordered, meat was tough in the burger that fell apart and then there was the pizza with a few tiny shavings of pineapple. Ordered an iced coffee.they swear there was icecream in it. I immediately stirred it and if there was icecream in it, must have been a teaspoon. Overall, extremely disappointed.
Food was well priced with good portion size. Great service with very friendly staff. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend.
We where here on the 30th December 2020, met one of the staff on the jetty handing out menu's. So we had the fisherman's basket and some iced coffees, everything was lovely, so good infact we went back for seconds.
The fish and chips here are the best I have ever tasted.
Lovely staff as well.
Would come back here again.
Ordered through Menulog. Driver was a few minutes late. But that wasn't even the problem! The "meatlovers" pizza was disappointing. Ham and pepperoni does not make it meat lovers! And not to mention the slicing of the pizza was so utterly bad, it looked like it was done by a 5 year old!
My girlfriend had the fish fingers and mentioned that it tasted very bland. The chips were soggy and undercooked! Overall the food was so bad we couldn't even eat the rest of it so we ended up going hungry instead. I'd rather starve then eat here!
Yep. Fresh seafood at an affordable price. Yum. Great service to boot. We will be back. Cheers.
Have been a few times for the big breakfast and it had been nice so took friends today and it was awful the food was cold the eggs burnt on the bottom and raw on top also missing the sausages when I mentioned about it to the staff they took mine back reheated it in the microwave and did another egg and returned it with the missing sausages that we all should have got with our meals needless to say we were not happy so will go elsewhere in the future.
Update took up the offer of a replacement breakfast even though we were sceptical but happy to report the breakfast was very good and the staff super helpful.
This food outlet is only open for limited days. Food was good but serving size small compared to other places near the jetty.
Not bad food service ok boat shed needed a dusting floor sweeped and a bit more presentation outside great
Fish and chips took 45+ minutes, “large” chips and gravy extremely small and disappointing. Fish was tasty but greasy enough to soak through the box.
