The Bay Pizzaria

We had a sensational pizza here - combination Prawn Star and Bay Supreme (refer menu). The pizza base was absolutely fantastic. When asked, we found out that the owner is a professional baker - that explains it. Not a bad cappuccino either. Highly recommend if you're into pizza.

A fantastic small business, not only a great place to eat but it is also a great spot to have a coffee or a beer and relax as you watch the fishing boats sail into the harbour.

Fabulous food, good service, great atmosphere! We went when there when they had music and it was really good! Loved the entire night.

We skipped over one age due to surcharge on the public holiday, and settled on Nay Pizzeria. Turns out they also had the surcharge, but I'm glad we skipped that first place.

I had a lime milkshake which actually came with ice cream, a rare treat for milkshakes these days.

The main dish was the 3 Little Pigs pizza, which had a delicious bacon jam on it.

I would 100% recommend this place, even with the surcharge!

Was recommend to visit this establishment by a local. Reservation made the day before but the lady behind the counter was unable to find our booking due to incorrect spelling of first name. Luckily they confirmed the booking by the mobile number.

The lady serving directed us to the incorrect table and upon ordering caused her confusion because the table number had changed. It turns out you need to order your food from one counter and drinks from the other side of the restaurant. Honestly this is a waste of time for everyone. One place for the order including beverages is sufficient as the restaurant size is quite small. There is also no table serves so you need to continue to get up to order your drinks. I watched half a dozen people come from the outside seating to order drinks throughout the evening.

If you need to go to the bathroom, you are out of luck. You are directed to the public toilets across the road.   If you have had a few drinks do not get hit by a car.

The three pizzas arrived after 40 minutes. One contained a dead squashed fly on the serving board. The waitress apologied telling us she would have another one made from scratch. Within 5 minute a new pizza arrived. I have my doubts that a new pizza was made from scratch due to the fully booked restaurant and the fact it took them 40 minutes to make the three pizzas the first time.

Conclusion: If you want to try the new insect pizza I recommend you attend, otherwise go elsewhere.

We stopped and had lunch here. The place looks really good for a little country cafe. The food is really good. We ordered a few dishes. The garlic and cheese flatbread was delicious, spicy buffalo chicken pizza smelt as good as it tasted. The honey soy chicken wings were cooked well, nice and crispy but could do with a bit more sauce, that sauce was too good. The marshmallow pizza was just perfect customer service was outstanding. The cocktails were good as well.

We ordered a vegetarian take away pizza which cost $29.00! That would have to be the most expensive pizza I’ve ever purchased.
Then when we got to our place of accomodation we were both shocked at the size of it (VERY small) and how little topping there was.
Wouldn’t recommend going here if you are craving a good pizza.

Came here for a feed after snorkeling at Ewen Ponds. The store looks nice with various seating options indoor and outdoor. We ordered a few dishes which all tasted amazing. The service here was very friendly.

Good pizza. Good service. Was cold & windy though. We sat by the door & I wore a skirt. & the door was open most of the time. Next time don't sit at the table next to the door.
Always a bit breezy & cold at Port Mac. Always take a jumper or jacket.

One of the best pizza restaurants I’ve eaten at in a long time, and probably my favourite. All of the pizzas we had were spectacular, although my personal favourite was the buffalo chicken pizza which I am now trying to replicate at home. Amazing restaurant and without a doubt would eat there if we go to Port Macdonnell again. This place definitely deserves 5 stars.

An awesome place for some really good food and a great atmosphere with excellent staff and customer service. They even had live music when we went there. We tried the pizza orf the month which was a butter chicken calzone. Absolutely recommend. Were thinking of going once a month and getting the monthly pizza and we live an hour and a half away. Was honestly great.

Great pizzas! Simple, light & delicious. Recommend go with friends & family so you can try some different ones - and the garlic bread. Great staff held the kitchen open for us an extra 20 mins after closing time as we were just arriving from near Melbourne and running late. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic lunch and thoroughly enjoyed both pizzas provided. A bit pricey but the quality made it worth it.
