The Bartley Hotel

We were there for Christmas lunch. Good price compared to other comparable hotels. Very busy and popular but despite this the food was really good. Friendly and helpful staff and even a visit from Santa with a gift for the children.

Have not been to the venue in a long time but the decor in the restaurant makes it look outdated.
Ordered garlic bread fish and chips and steak.
Garlic bread was ok but had a lot better, the steak was of poor quality and visually looked terrible.and roast veg tasted bitter. Fish and chips was acceptable but overall food was not to the standard around western suburbs.
Restaurant had a smell to it as soon as you walked in.
For a Saturday night if not for a large group the place had no atmosphere and want to stay around.

Came here for Drag Queen Bingo. Fifi and Izzy are funny and professional, keeping the night moving. The food was good, hot and as described on the menu. Lovely night, thank you

Clean and tidy with cold beer and very good food. Ordered the warm beef salad which was full of beef pieces and lots of mixed salad with a nice spicy dressing. Tuesday is cheap schnitzel night if you want to eat out and save a few bucks

We had a problem with one of the meals, they made a new one without hesitation and did so with a smile.

Update: After an absence of a few months we were glad to return. The wings are still good but the best thing is the staff. So friendly and fun. Dan even remembered my name! Jackson and Rian were great too. Thank you.

And here we were again for our now m once a month lunch. Something came unstuck and three meals were served and then five of us waited and waited becoming a little disgruntled BUT the staff were excellent as they sorted things out, got us fed and offered a little extra to keep us sweet. Well done, team.
Update: back again. Regulars once a month now. Good place to chat after church and yep, it's still the wings for me.
Been at West Lakes United Church often in the last few years but never tried the place right next door. So today we went for lunch. Ten of us turned up, ordered in dribs and drabs, but most impressively, they were all served together. Pleasantly presented, amazing prices and yes, the pork crackling was superb. Great service especially from the young blonde guy. Think this might become a regular event.
And so we were back again today. Yup. Already planning for next month.

Twelve of us. Shambly lot of oldies dithering about orders. Patient, lovely service. Gotta love those wings.

No thanks. I think it's lucky I'd give it 2 stars. There are more pleasant to go, to be honest.

Absolutely terrible will not entertain ever going back!
Mains and entres arrived at same time.mac balls frozen still in the middle and the overpowered garlic in everything made it inedible. Only good thing was the wine!

Very relaxing environment and nice and cool in the heat. Beers a bit overpriced but otherwise a great time. Would recommend to go there for a nice night out

Went there for Christmas lunch, worst catering l have ever come across, food piled on one plate for 5 people, rubbish. Kids running between tables unsupervised unmasked, so much for COVID. Food was substandard for $100.00 / head. Never again

Walked in was so quiet ordered and paid for our meals sat down to then be told our meals would take half an hour after we just paid when they should have told us before hand. Just over an hour later I go to ask at least where the kids meal is which was just pasta and butter got told everything is about ten minutes away sat for another 20 minutes and then the pasta came out, ten minutes later the butterfish finally came and then the other two meals. Absolute joke.

We would definitely go back as the staff Cherie and Mia were Soo welcoming and couldn't do enough for us.that is the big reason we will come back again!

Lovely refurbished hotel at Westlakes Shore. Very comfortable seating areas and outdoor gas fire with big screen TV. Friendly, welcoming staff. Worth a visit. Recommend.

Rather enjoyed the atmosphere food delicious and staff friendly and informed of entertainment was on.

Terrible service from the staff in the gaming area it's a real shame it's a massive pub in a great location the gaming area has been laid out well it's nice to not be cramped into a small area for a change but the staff really let the pub down for me I won't be returning any time soon

Went for a wake, and it’s the first time we were able to go to a function since covid. Constantly seeing business doing it tough and desperate to have patronage. This was most definitely not felt as the staff were rude and abrupt. We were made to feel like we were a hindrance.

I was disappointed that it took me alittle long to know where the band was playing since I've never been to the Bartley Hotel B4.

First meal was wonderful, the second was very disappointing, they burnt one side of my chicken tenderloins to crispy black turned them over and camouflaged it with the sauce. Not very impressed. We will try them again, we all have bad days.

Nice and friendly staff. Big open space. Nice schnitty's for my Fiancee and future MIL. My curry wasn't very flavourful, wouldn't order it again. Probably try something else next time. Worth a visit
