Tarim Uyghur Restaurant reviews
62 We dined at the restaurant a few times. Frankly speaking, the food is quite good but the waiting time is very long (e.g. 30 minutes for a dish). The thing that I don't like most about them is they don't take preorder and booking for less than 10 people. I have explained to them we have small children and can't wait for long so need
preorder but they just don't take that into account.
Ordered the fried bread with lamb and onion. It was tasty and crunchy with the right amount of spice. Recommended to people who enjoy Uyghur cuisine in a cosy and simple setting.
Had worst dining experience here tonight. Arrived restaurant at 5: 10pm this afternoon and only 2’tables 4 people were sitting there (1 of them nearly finished their meals). Place order for 4 dishes and took at least 1 hour and 10 mins to receive all of them. No explanation or apologies.
Complaint to the young guy who were cooking kebab in front but no response. He was pretending did not hear me. No apology or free drink, even I have to pay for the table water.
Try to avoid this place and will not be back in a short time for sure.
Dine in:
Pros:
Food quality - great taste and skilfully cooked
Serving size - generous (even small)
Hygiene - tidy and clean, comfortable
Speed - most dishes ready in 10 minutes or less
Service - staff fulfilled their duties and quiet, which is good. We can enjoy the meal
Parking - about 8+ available but mostly are occupied as there are other restaurants next to it.
Cons:
No table water. I don’t know well
(Although the yogurt drink is not expensive)
Toilet is far away.
Well, it is my first time dinning here.
Definitely would go again,
Must try Kebab, Stir-fried noodles, Lamb Soup, Pastry!
Love the food, and the serving sides are huge. If you prefer good food over silver service, this is a place to visit and you will walk out with money left in your wallet/purse.
Some dishes are very oily. Generous serves. Our party had one dish with human hair. Will not be coming back.
Long wait time, poor hygiene, owner s kids run around in the room, we had to find chill, vinegar and napkin by ourselves. End up my son used sleeve cleaned his mouth. Won't recommended!
My favorite place to eat, been here a few years ago and the deliciousness of the food has never changed.
Another good Uyghur restaurant in Adelaide. They have best Rangpiza ever Uyghur cuisine is the best Always!
The best food in Adelaide, great staff very kind, the atmosphere was warming and made me feel like home, i definitely would come back again and advise everyone to this restaurant
We came twice in one week. This means something: they are awesome!
Try their homemade chilly paste, warning: they are VERY spicy.
PS: Dry stir fry noddles has two size, large size is REALLY large.
Delicious foods and served with really big portion. But food serve very slow, have to wait for 25 mins. Got free WIFI
Best uyghur restaurant in adelaide. Absolutely delicious food and too cheap priced. Largest resturant in adelaide. Free parking available. It is good For big family party.
Delicious food, but if going with a big group I'd suggest booking and ordering food to share rather than individual meals, then everyone can eat straight away.
Best lamb kebab in town! Always so soft and no sinew at all. Very friendly staff and amazing food. Always go for more.
The dishes I ordered here were really tasty and flavorsome. Completely devoured my meal.
Pretty good quality ingredients used.
Can’t reccomend it enough, look forward to my next visit.
We were delighted with the delicious flavors of the many dishes tried by our group. Generous serves so arrive hungry. Definitely recommend the lamb skewers.
The decor is dated, the food delivery is variable, it could be too spicy and not service oriented. If any of those things turn you off, you've been warned. If you are still reading, then you are up for a treat. We've been here a couple of times before and every time we've been made to feel as part of the family. In all the good and bad ways. You get yummy, home-style meal, welcoming friendly people and you get to make your own free tea. The food is greasy, spicy and in huge portions, but most of all it's delicious and made with love.
Owner is friendly and serves with a smile but food, hmmmmm. We had ordered non spicy food and clearly mentioned that we don’t want anything to be spicy. Dimsums were nice, kebabs were not cooked and were very chewy and the worst part was the main dish. It was sooooo spicy that my kids started crying and even we couldn’t eat it as it was so god damn spicy. When I approached the owner for this, he stated that there may be a mix up in the kitchen, which is understandable. Advised him that we don’t want to eat this spicy food and would like to leave. He had added $28 for the spicy dish, which he shouldn’t have. When I confronted him he took it off but in my opinion he shouldn’t have charged for it at a first place.
Service is very poor, we had to wait for over an hour to get our food, which came in intervals.
Tt plaza well it is getting very big very nice place they just need to bring the $ on food down in the cinemas
