A remarkable geological wonder that transports you through time & ranking among the most decorative caves in South Australia

Externally, it might not seem like much, but you'll be pleasantly surprised by the abundance of offerings inside!

It's fascinating to consider that in the 1930s, a young boy stumbled upon this discovery while using his ferret to chase rabbits

Great caves especially for those who are mobility impaired or not able to cope with the stairs of similar caves at Naracoorte

We were after a cave experience, but wanted something close to Mt Gambier, and this was well worth the small cost.
Not a big cave, but very decorated with 'mites and 'tights and a big range of different types of them.
The guide was really friendly and happy to answer questions (gave us some good ideas of other places to check out as well)

The biggest down side here was the Tantanoola Tiger is not on display here, but is stuck in the pub, which is closed and so you cannot see it!

Worth the visit! Even though it's not very big, the formations were amazing. Great guide as well.

So glad we found these disability access caves. It’s a wide open cave with ramps, best half hour spent beautiful sights and then you can sit for a bit on the chairs to just take it all in
Very magical

Beautiful cave and truly amazing. İt was definitely worth the stop. Though would have liked a small cafe where people can buy coffee or cold drinks and enjoy resting in the picnic area before taking off again,

Beautiful cave. Easy access. Good tour guide - lots of interesting info and some time to wonder around and explore the cave at our own pace. We also visited Engelbrecht Cave in Mount Gambier, and of the two, I would recommend Tantanoola!

Definitely recommend the visit! Absolutely beautiful cave and reasonably priced. Rachel went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. She was very knowledgable about the history of the cave and the growth of it.

Such an amazing place. I thought the cave would be deeper. But still really amazing. Will hold a special place in my heart, my partner proposed to me in this cave.

So Amazing! To think that this was discovered 92 years ago by a 16 year old boy.imagine what his first thoughts were when finding this amazing discovery. The caves are about 500 million years old. Definitely worth stopping in and booking a tour!

Well run and well worth seeing. The guides were friendly but protective and they enjoyed their roles. The caves were spectacular. I wish I’d seen them all. A little pricey if u did but well worth the visit

Small single room cave, however dense of stalactites and stalagmites. The guide has been interesting with anecdotes and details.
