Steven ter Horst Chocolatier reviews
40If you like choc mint then you'll love their mint hot chocolate. I also recommend trying out their dessert cakes! A great chill place to hang out and have some choccies.

Honestly the best chocolate, coffee and desserts in Adelaide with down to earth yet professional customer service. We often pass up dessert at the restaurant when dining in the city to indulge here. We just discovered their incredibly generous slices of baked cheesecake.seriously good!
Our group went there for desert after having lunch in rundle street. We were very impressed with the variety of chocolates & cakes. The coffee was good as was the hot chocolate. A chocolate lovers dream come true.
Latte coffee with oat milk was different but tasty and the raspberry lime tart was tasty. However when ordering the small chocolates none of the two girls served, after no service I only brought the above.
My Favorite Friday night place to have chocolates. Perhaps the only few left in Adelaide that have a good quality Chocolate, music is good, latine and not too loud so you can have a chat with someone.
Stopped in mid afternoon for a Mocha. When the hospital was around the corner I used to stop more frequently. Definitely try their caramel centred muffins. They are to die for. The mocha today was a dark liquid and probably quite balanced. Not as creamy as some mochas I’ve had. Service was quick and friendly.
The best hot chocolate in town. Different flavours and options to choose from. Try the Aztec chilli or the Spanish spices. You won't be disappointed.
We absolutely love this place and visit to stock up on their delicious chocolate every time we are in Adelaide. The whiskey salted caramel sauce is a big favourite too. Lovely spot with great staff.
I happened upon this little gem of a shop and what a find! Amazing hot chocolate, and desserts that were pure bites of heaven! Bought a few chocolates to get me through the day and they were equally as good- true couverture chocolate, with a delicious assortment of flavours. A must for chocolate-lovers.
Awesome. The hot chocolate is the best cocao hot chocolate I have had. Most cocoa powder hot chocolate isn't great, but this was.
The chocolates are also.
Probably some of the best chocolate you can find in the country. Mindfully produced by the owners who'll you'll often find working in the shop themselves. They exude incredible passion about what they do, and make no compromises when crafting their product. If you'd like a real experience, try their salted caramel, honeycomb or hot chocolate. Seriously worthwhile visit if you're in Rundle St!
Amazing delicious desserts and chocolate.
Salted caramel sauce is devine.great news is you can purchase a jar to take home.warning addictively delicious.
I've been coming here for the past 3 years, everything I've tasted is nothing short of delicious. My whole family loves this place.
+excellent customer service
As a chocolate addict, I must say this place didn't meet my expectations. So many good reviews made me think I would have a really pleasant time there. However, I ended up with that feeling that I paid too much for something that just doesn't deliver. Even tried their cookie, which is something so basic, and. Meh! Nothing special.
Hands down the best salted caramel I've tasted anywhere, since before salted caramel took over everything. Everything else, desserts and beverages, is great as well.
These truffles are delicious! I can't decide between these and Haighs in terms of quality but in terms of unique selection Steven ter Horst wins. Orange and cardamon truffle mmmmm. Great coffee too.
The milk chocolate bar here has a wonderful flavour compare to other places, love it. Dessert are great too. Worth to try.
Delicious chocolate food/drinks. Not a fan of the uncomfortable and small metal stools. Industrial theme feels a bit overdone.
