Star of Siam

My 3rd visit - food was as usual delicious.
Service was efficient. Unfortunately the restroom is quite cramped, but this little thing won't stop me from going there again.

Super recommend this place!
Couple days ago I went there with my boyfriend, the staff there super friendly, they were really nice and helpful. I was shocking with their attitude, can’t get better than that around Adelaide. Feel like home. The food was excellent, I’m really happy to know this place. This is the best Thai food in Adelaide I’ve ever tried. Amazing. Amazing.
Definitely will return to this place again.

Overcooked and not as authentic as I tried in Thailand. The pad Thai was changed too much I can only taste the sugar and yucky and dry vege.

The restaurant is located on one if the busiest streets in the city. Warm reception and very quick and friendly service. Good choices of Thai food and nice verity of the drinks.
We ordered bbq squid, Pad-Thai and pan seared pork with rice. Out of the dishes the Pad-Thai was the best and cooked to perfection. The squid and pork were a bit dry but very fresh. Nice place to visit.

This has stood the test of time for me. My favourite Thai place. The food is always fabulous, service spot on and always a good experience!

Really tasty! Kept it simple, had their veg spring rolls for entree, friend rice with chicken and spring onion and pan-dan chicken for main and all the dishes were excellent. There's a reason Star of Siam had been around for so long, and apart from the great food, their service was really attentive too. Very reasonably priced.

This has been our favourite Thai Restaurant for years but due to various circumstances we had not been for a while. Our meal was a delight from start to finish and the flavours as fresh and exciting as the first time we tried them. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was better than Thai food we get at home. They were quite busy so glad we had reserved a table.

The best Thai and the best service in a restaurant.
I have waited years to get to this restaurant and it was worth it. I will be back!

Visited this restaurant at the end of August. It was extremely busy but that didn't stop the staff from being very attentive. The lady who was in charge really impressed me when we arrived - she remembered who I was from going in earlier to make the booking which made us feel special. It is one of the nicest Thai restaurants I have been to and hope I get the opportunity to visit Adelaide in the future so I can re-visit.

Food and service here was amazing. The food came out very fast and the staff were very accommodating

Wonderful food and service as per usual.
Prices a little high to my liking but definitely worth the quality.
The only downside I had was that we weren't told when extra charge was applied to our order so we got a bit of a surprise when we paid for our meal. But otherwise a lovely experience.

No wonder this restaurant is always busy! Delicious food served by friendly but polite staff. Always love going there.

This place is absolute class, service is very nice and the food is amazing! Ordered the salt and paper squid and chilli and garlic pork as entree's and it was great!

A group of us decided last minute to head to dinner on a Saturday night. We had tried to dine at other restaurants but were denied due to being booked out. When we came to star of Siam they advised we could sit outside but only for 1 hour due to another booking. We ordered quickly and the food came shortly after. We were very looked after and felt welcomed with open arms. Not to mention the food was superb. Definitely will be back.

Had a lovely evening for my dad's birthday tonight. Friendly and welcoming service, excellent food and genuine down to Earth people. Will definitely be coming back very soon:)

I have in my working life in Hospitality seen a lot to few to mention here.what annoys me the most in Hospitality is poor service and low standards, whether basic hygiene practices, or just plain customers service.
Last night I had the most unpleasant experience walking in to Restaurant and realising immediately this is the wrong place!
This place was an absolute shocker it stunk it looked visibly tired and dirty.it was below anything I have ever seen. (I know you must think why going there in the first place? I was actually after a specific dish wich they pride themselves of being the best). Long story.anyway I paid my due walked out immediately afterwards as I felt certain it was going to ruin our night. (you can teach an old dog new tricks)
so I had to make rearrangement for a table of 8 as it was a 50 birthday celebration for someone special to me.
I then tried my luck at the "Star of Siam" a lot of you probably know this place and a lot of you know this Lady in the pic.
I told her what happened (Restaurant was busy almost full). She said give me 10 minutes and so it went. I HAD ONE OF THE BEST NIGHT! The food was executed perfectly it was tasty well presented and so was the service.we had the best time ever.
I have visited the Star of Siam many times in the past it has always been consistently good and Jasmine is the absolute SUPERSTAR what an Icon what an inspiration you are.thank you for kidness and professionalism.
