St Louis House of Fine Ice Cream & Dessert reviews
60Wonderful service and delicious beverages. Such a pleasant setting to sit down and enjoy a cuppa:)
Friendly staff and great service. Great coffee, ice cream and churros great to see they’ve been able to stay open
Ignoring the price point. The food was horrible! I got a waffle and it was undercooked. It was like eating sourdough that had been warm up. As I asked for a new one and reason why the server knew right away and stated "undercooked" if this is such a known problem, maybe change fix it? And the strawberries were old and sour.
Simply yummo, yum ice cream, yum coffee and great service, will most certainly revisit this place soon, yummalicious!
Chai latte I ordered was nice. But they have charged me extra 0.70$ for two sugar that I asked them to add to it. Seriously? I could have bought nearly 1kg of sugar. Bit dissapointed.
I gave the lady a $10 note for a $5 one scoop and she didn’t give me change. Did the same to my friend! Tiniest scoop ever too.
Decided to try these guys out. The food quality was very good and the food was tasty but was way overpriced for what I got. The portions were small for the price.
Sorry to say that it was a very disappointing experience at this little venue.
I had ordered the waffles and found out after that it's not freshly made but packaged waffles.
Should specify on the menu since the crepes and churros are both freshly made.
The desserts are amazing. The place is relatively small and somewhat crowded and the noise from the nearby game arcade is a little annoying at times. But, overall, it's worth a visit.
Stay away, what a rip off, $4 for a banana and $4 dollars for a tea spoon scoop of ice cream, $8 dollars for 1$ worth of desert, give me a break, I don't mind paying when I get value but that's a joke, stay away people unless you have money to burn, service a bit dodge aswell.never again.
I ordered a serve of hazelnut & a serve of pistacho icecream, I was going to order the strawberry icecream, but it didn't look very nice. Service was a bit slow, it wasn't busy.
The flavours are nice however the icecreams had a grainy texture as opposed to smooth and creamy. Not sure if I just visited on a bad day. The chocolate shots also come in a very small container as opposed to the generous short black cups some other St Louis cafes use.
Appalling ice cream serving size for $7 in a cup. Staff didn’t seem to care when approached about it.
Good coffee and friendly service. Didn't try the ice cream but it looked good and the flavours were very enticing.
Poor tasting waffles, basically dry sugared bread. Servings are super small, way over priced. Thickshake tasted like ice water. Waste of money.
Excellent service x ordered a churros feast got told itd be 15 minutes - no problem its alot of food! 14 minutes later they apologized for the wait and added extra goodies for it. Gorgeous people and great service:)
Service was poor and staff were very rude. Overpriced with small portions, waste of money and wish I bought something else.
Not the best really for the price it's quite ordinary Great Customer Service though And beautiful atmosphere
I just paid $7.20 for large coffee, I asked for extra chocolate, which I didn’t get when I asked for more, he said $3 extra for it, and coffee was not good. One at Glenelg is way better service and you can see difference in taste of coffee.
