(update: 2 weeks later after filling out their internal feedback form ticking the request for contact button and I have had no response other than the generic reply seen here) So I had an eye test, picked frames and lenses and thought I could just arrange to pay but it turns out the only quote was hand written on a 3 fold paper and they can't give me details on the lenses and answer questions. Even worse I could hardly hear the lady on the phone because the background noise was louder than her. Td to come into the store to discuss lenses? Now I feel like it was mostly a waste of time and might look what deals are elsewhere.

The staff are pleasant and professional. The testing and explanation about the test results are explained well. Glasses are ready for pick up usually in under 2 weeks and the fit and comfort are adjusted at pick up.

My wife and I have our eyes tested regularly for dry eyes and pressure as well as vision. Very impressed with the caring service, professionalism and respect shown by all staff here when we visited last November 2021. Very busy outlet but very efficiently managed. Our eyes were checked thoroughly and they also kindly agreed to send reports to our regular Optometrist in Sydney as we are on the road traveling. Will return on our way back through Adelaide for follow up tests in March 2022. Also all tests were on the Medicare card with no extra charges which is always welcome! Thank You Specsavers Tea Tree Plaza!

Always a great experience at Spec Savers. Today was fantastic, the Optometrist was extremely knowledgeable and explained my condition well. He was extremely thorough and I walked away with confidence about my complicated prescription. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

I came in last Friday or Saturday to change my sunglasses. I had a lovely girl help me who I have seen before. Unfortunately I have forgotten her name. She is always very helpful and gives great advice.

Wife has been coming here for years and was always OK.

Came in for an appointment recently and was scolded for not bringing her Medicare card with her. In the (I assume) managers words "getting it off the system where you booked is time consuming so we have to push your appointment back a slot". Note the online booking system states "You can speed up your visit in store by providing your Medicare details now as part of your booking. " So we thought we were doing the right thing.

Was also scolded for turning up to the appointment exactly on time.

Not sure if this was just a bad day, but really didn't appreciate the attitude. Please note all the other staff were well mannered and friendly.

Went in to get one of my pair of Hackett glasses broken handle fixed (Been exactly a year of minimum gentle use) the front desk guy says no problem will get it fixed, while I was selecting a new pair he comes out and says all fixed, only for me to realise when I go back home, my glasses has a big sharp screw sticking out the other end. Then the Pushy front desk guy wanting me to finish up my selection as he needed to take off earlier than the store closes. Optometrist was good.

Always a dissapointment with this shop and service. Optometrists are average, staff are bossy and rude, always know it better, they do not listen. Being a little-bit late for appointment - due to the havoc happening in a parking area - couldn't access the place booked. Wasn't allowed to acces the place booked by someone else who took it. It would be easy to arrange that by swapping it, no harms expected. No argument just a friendly request fallen in deaf ears. No appointment on this day was the answer.aha, understand. Pathetic. There are plenty of other shops who have the right customer service, happy to spend the dedicated money at somewhere else! What comes around it goes around, it always happen! Never come back to this shop again! Bye-bye

Rude customer service.
New spec had marks and when I called and asked the lady rudely said that BRING IN THE GLASSES - CCANOT DO ANYTHING OVER PHONE.

She was kind of telling me, that no point calling and I wanted to let them know that the spec has marks and I cannt bring in until weekend but had to disconnect as she was rude.

Not Acceptable!

I arrived yesterday to get my eye test done and they were so busy.

And the professionalism and experience I received from the start was 10/10 was incredible.

I really want to thank Theresa Bui who was just incredible explaining everything to me.

A really great experience at this spec savers location.

Great service from when you walk into the place. Optometrist was great and the staff member who help me choose my glasses. Very professional and thorough with the health check of my eyes. Would highly recommend this place if you are in need of a eye health check. Also has an audiologist on-site.

Rude staff with ZERO customer service skills. They are lucky due to their 'heavy foot traffic' location or else they would struggle to get customers due to poor service. Businesses complain when they go broke, partially due to grumpy service as a result of not upskilling their staff's customer service skills! Customers are spending time and paying your store for your services, not coming to your store to listen to hear stories from your grumpy and unfriendly staff! RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS - CUSTOMERS COME FIRST!

The young lady I dealt with was rude when it came to modifying some glasses and when I called to express my disappointment in her behaviour they tried saying I miss understood never returning.
