I went to this clinic for my new born 6 week check and immunization on 7/7/21. I rang twice before making an appointment to make sure GP here is experienced with new born's cause I didn't have good experience at previous clinic. I was assured over the phone.
This clinic was 5 mins walk away from my home.when I got there Nurse Rachel checked weight and height and prepare for immunization and talk me through about vaccines my son going to get and possible side effects and what to do if there is side effects. I was so glad that I came to this clinic was so happy at this stage and I was thinking I finally found a perfect clinic for my son then Dr kosala came to the treatment room introduce himself and briefly ask my son's medical history and child birth. I saw Dr Kosala doing some check up on my son while the Nurse was still talking to me about how to position my son for vaccine administration then they administer the vaccines (3 needles at the same time) at this stage my son start crying and Dr Kosala left the room.when I managed to settle my son I asked the nurse if Doctor is coming back to complete the check (I assume the check up wasn't finished because Dr didn't have chat with me how his growth and development is going that's the purpose of this check up at 6 week age)
Dr Kosala came back to the treatment room started saying "what you want me to do " what you want me to do.didn't you see me doing the checkup? In very aggressive tone.mind you I am the first time Mum already coming from bad experience at other other clinic where Dr didn't do necessary check as not experience with new born and my child birth wasn't smooth either.
I just decided to walk out of here and never come back to this clinic.website says their values are respect and compassion.there was no respect and compassion was there.

I first attended this practice 12 months ago and was extremely impressed with the care and courtesy shown to me. I have since been back on 3 occasions and am very happy with the doctor I have seen and would strongly recommend the centre.

Thank you to Kayla and Dr Kosala Abeysundera for arranging and performing a telehealth call for my daughter today. You have made what I thought would be impossible in the current covid times very easy and smooth for us today.

I transferred to Somerton Park medical after finding my original doctor was always busy and in a hurry. I went to this client as a friend informed me of how great the doctors were. Why not give them a go. To my surprise I have found them very caring and they actually listen to my concerns. I highly recommend this surgery. I have seen two different doctors and both have been fantastic. I don’t feel like a number I actually feel like a patient. I now have the whole family visiting this client. Being open late and all weekends are a bonus. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the receptionist are always happy to fax referrals off straight away or do follow up calls. We have been at this clinic for 12 months now. Highly recommend
