Sofra Kebab House reviews
61Staff are clearly hard working and very friendly. Food is outstanding and tasty. Good serving size. The only thing is the lighting could be improved and softened at night. Wouldn't go here on a date as it's so bright but then they get the hungry crowd late at night so it's friendly and all you need is a good feed before lights out.
Never had a bad meal here and been many times! Staff friendly and food great - my only gripe is getting a park close by
This amazing place hasn’t changed the quality of the food is delicious! The taste of every bite is absolutely yummmmm to the staff, Thank you so much. Many years ago I used to come here and it hasn’t changed one single bit. The food is delicious. People need to come here and taste the way they have their food prepared and cooked. Well done guys you guys rock! I’ll be coming to this place again again and again!
Very unprofessional. High on price and very low on quality. Ordered fresh Chicken AB and they used heated fries & Chicken instead of fresh cooked.
The tables were not clean and most importantly the chicken was raw from the inside soo I complained and they cooked it and got it after that there was hair in my bread I was soo disgusted I asked them to take it back. Never going again.
The lamb and chicken kabab is wonderful! Really juicy and tender. Good flavor, the rice is fragrant, and nice portion of the AB for student, too.
Absolutely disgusting food, the chicken is uncooked. If you want to get diarrhea, will definitely recommend to eat here.
The smallest kebabs in Australia
Do NOT recommend. They were as thin as a sausage and less than half the size of anywhere else.
Update
I notice all the reviews after mine mention big serving sizes, when nobody before did.
Coincidence or lies? You decide.
The owner or staff writing their own fake reviews - how insulting to treat people are as if they are so gullible and stupid.
If you knew how to make a decent kebab, then you will find the public will come to you by choice - not just because you are the last place nearby open late.
Combo wrap and AB's are off the chart. Get the chilli sauce as well - highly recommend. Good value for money.
Extrodinary customer service, the wait times are not that long as they got 4 and up to 5 barbers on most days.
You’re gonna love your visit especially if Mohammed is in, he will make you smile for sure
Ordered through ubereats. Portions were reasonable. Meat was way too salty.garlic sauce did not taste like garlic sauce. I wish i read the ratings before ordering. Im used to this kinda food but this was lot by far the worst ive had. Stay away!
Good food but the size of skewers was bigger before. The price is ok but please maintain the portion. Very delicious!
Used to go here, not anymore.
New management is basically ripping off customers. AB was only $12 for years with old management, new owner changed it to $14 on day one itself, and now it’s $14.21
I don’t get what this 0.21c is for, absolutely stingy!
Unfortunately with the new owner the food is been disaster, the meat taste so bad and they give a small serve of kebab that is literally like a kids meal for $20.the quality of the food is really bad and I really don’t recommend to anyone but if you like wasting money go ahead.
We love going there for our yummy kebabs.
Fast service. Clean place and friendly staff.
One unisex toilet only.
Loveliest staff and people, super clean, best food ever. Fantastuc prices. The black tea too, is so yummy. Open late on weekends for best ever kebabs. Super, super yummy.
Really disappointed in this place. The old owner has sold it off and it's become a very poor quality food venue and not only that all the prices have jumped up massively. The old prices I would have paid $8 for a pot of tea and $2 for baklava. I paid 32$ for 4x baklava and a pot of tea for myself and 3 other friends. What a total rip off. The tea was bitter and very over brewed.
The half chicken meal was rancid with the chicken tasting like it had been microwaved then cooked. And I paid allot more than the old prices for a poorer quality of food. The overall vibe of the place has even changed with it being allot less of a cozy and chill vibe to having bright light everywhere taking away that cozy vibe. The outdoor area has no heaters aswell. Unfortunately it is an end of an era for myself and my mates as we've been coming to this place for a few years now and unfortunately if you're going to charge an extortionate amount of money for absolute garbage food then what is the point in coming back.
Like other reviews outlines, with new management the food quality has certainly became inferior.
This place used to have best tasting chicken kabab.
I went today for dinner after approx 3-4 months and was absolutely disappointed with tasteless and dry food.
Will not be visiting this place again.
Previous food at this establishment was much better with the previous owners/management. It wasn't burnt or oilly. Now it is quite oilly, burnt and the services has declined. I wish it will change the food quality soon as it is the only place open till late in adelaide.
