Sit Lo reviews
55A Vietnamese restaurant serving amazing baos, fresh banh mi, and the standard pho. Was crazy about their panko crumbed fried chicken rice bowl which I used to order with extra meat. But a few times, it was served cold and rock hard. It was really hard to chew, had to use a lot of force from my molars to bite it. But overall, I have had pretty good experiences during my uni days at this place. Hence, a 4 star for those good times?
Good place for a good pho pick me up but however they have gone stingey with the sauce, i remember when i started coming here you use to be able to have all the sauce you want now got to pay extra for little more sauce in a tiny bowl.
It's one of the most delicious beef phos, but you gotta know the trick. I go for large with extra meat and put everything inside, nice seasoning and nice. Totally would eat here once a week. Easy.
SitLo is the best vietnamese restaurant in Australia! Please don't ever change, the food and service is unbelievable.
Absolutely love it here! Really cool atmosphere and decor. I get a coconut crush every time i come and it never disappoints, would definitely recommend the chicken bao.
One of mine and my partners new favourite places in Adelaide! The service to get a seat was timed perfectly and quick. The food came super quick but was very fresh and full of flavour. The Bao buns are the best we have had! Staff was all super friendly and attentive which just added to the experience. I would highly recommend!
Not bad for Vietnamese meals. Little cold when it was served with fatty chicken not ideal for what we have had before elsewhere.
Overall, a nice dining experience but expected a lot more from the spring rolls. Hearty pho but grab a large if you’re hungry because the smaller size may not hit the spot
Great food but ownership has recently changed - meaning front of house staff are quite rude and demanding. Made to wait outside for take away order and not very welcoming at all. Disappointing as this place is usually my go to!
I rang in my usual english accent to ask for a booking. (sit) Low and behold, they refused to take bookings. Not only this, but when I asked about their prize winning honey chicken, they seemed confused and acted like it wasn't a thing! I swear they had it last time. The lady told me they were "not honki tonki" in a rude snarl and I was terrified: o I am not visiting for my school excursion:)

Wow! This small cafe is amazing! The quality and the flavours of the food is brilliant! A very small and narrow cafe designed for a quick lunch. The prices are very reasonable and the service is amazingly fast!
One long table with stools and some very small tables with very low seats. Takeaway meals are ordered and served from an open window at the front of the cafe. Their takeaways are there main form of meal service.
A very, very popular cafe due to quality fresh food, amazing flavours and extremely fast service! We go there as often as we can!
I had the rice noodle bowl with tofu and mushroom (vegetarian) and it was amazing. It’s better than a lot of places I have been to and the price is ok too. Would be great if the serving size was a bit larger but it was good. Will be back again to try something else as well.
The bao buns here are very very good. I also had the beef pho and it was nice and fragrant.definitely give this a shot if you are in the area.
The small phò is a lot smaller than other places, although it only costs $10, I didn't expect the size to be this small as other stores are usually $12 for a small, the $2 does make a huge difference in sizing so if you usually eat a lot just size up for $14.
The food was mediocre at best, the broth was a little too sweet for liking. Another thing I was quite surprised about was that they don't serve the toppings (?) In a separate bowl, instead they put it on the top which was really weird to me as I don't eat coriander, which they put a lot in.
It was ok overall, better places around Adelaide.
Great little Vietnamese venue, reasonable pricing with generous serves, great iced coffee and decor that makes you feel like your anywhere but Adelaide. Great lunch spot recommend the rice bowl with extra meat, a couple of cold rolls and a Vietnamese iced coffee
Went today with my youngest lad, as he suggested to go, i was very surprised by the size of the meal i got the grilled chicken rice bowl with added asian greens and egg he got bahn mi roll and a chicken hot bun, price was reasonable service was excellent food was beautiful, definitely would go back. The meal was delicious and we were served quickly. Only complaint was it’s a bit squishy and the table wasn’t clean.
The iced coffee was served to me in a plastic cup when I specifically went there to eat in and avoid using more plastic.
Just bumped into this place as it was so close to our hotel. It’s lovely and you can also sit outside.
The food was great, had the chicken pho and a noodle bowl with grilled chicken (12$ each). The food was served really quick and was delicious. For my taste there was even too much meat in each dish.but that’s up to your personal taste. I’ll try the tofu version next time)
SitLo. You never fall to please! Friendly. Fast. Fresh. And frikken delicious - as always! My noodle bowl with crumbed Panko fried chicken and extra chilli was probably the best I've ever had. See you again soon!
