Sit Lo reviews
55Food was delicious, but staff rude! We were the only people in the shop and looking on the large board with menu. The woman at the till handed us small menus and instructed in a rude way to move on site, read it and order at the till.when we got our food were we still the only clients. Considering this experience- i’d rather go to other asian shop next time.
Really nice find - great priced and taste of the noodle bowl. Fantastic service, fast delivery!
This place is lovely ️ my husband said his Kwey Tao was lovely unfortunately, I had to take a star off because my friend rice had no flavour and was very over cooked which made is gluggy.
Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? !? Best pho I've ever had! Magnificent, absolutely magnificent.
Good food. However limited seating space and there’s no AC which makes it quite stuffy/unpleasant inside. However reasonably priced and food itself is good. Staff were friendly.
Best Banh Mi in the city, generous with the fillings and delicious. Ordering in advance with app recommended as they can get busy.
Bought 3 noodle bowls today as the normal place in the train station is closed this week. All 3 of us were gutted, very disappointed most of mine went in the bin we all had the same opinion too so wasn't just me. Wont be going back
Excellent vietnamese food in the CBD! Will definitely be back here on my next trip to Adelaide.
Their panko crumbed chicken noodle bowl is so delicious. I always get this every time I'm here. Amazing food, fast service, and nice environment.
Still one of my favourite Vietnamese places around especially with their crazily tasty roast pork bahn mi.
Wonderful food per usual. Can you please, please, please offer different sizes in the coconut crushie in future please? I would have liked a little more. Could you offer pure shaved ice with some syrup over the top as a desert in future too? That would be absolutely amazing
The sauce - the satay one - amazing. Please don't get rid of it
Excellent value for money and amazing food. Can't say anything bad because there truly isn't anything bad to say lol
The place was cozy and with a good atmosphere.
The banh mi with panko crumbed fried chicken and chilli mayo was absolutely delicious and the chicken pho was very hot and full of flavour.
The staff were very quick and friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
I would definitely come back.
Eating at Sit Lo was a delicious experience - but you don’t need me to tell you that. You can trust their place on just about every “Adelaide cheap eats” list and the 550+ other reviews here to back me up.
We purchased the Roast Crackling Pork Noodle Bowl & Roast Crackling Pork Banh Mi - both so good, & absolutely hit the spot. Loved the price, and the HUGE variety of gluten free options on the menu. Would note though, that there’s not a ton of seating. Gotta go back and try their other dishes!
Beef pho soup base is very tasty. We ordered two serve of grilled chicken cold roll, which literally is two rolls. I have never eaten such expensive cold roll in my life. $15 for two cold rolls thought the menu stated one serve comes in two? Anyways, did enjoy the pho.
Could never go wrong with pho on a cold night. Tried Sit Lo recently and their food and service is good.
The vegetarian spring roll was delicious and enough for sharing. I had chicken pho and the broth was good. I would’ve preferred chicken breast pieces but that’s just my preference.
All in all, good place to eat.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff with an extensive menu.
Restaurant experience = 5/5
Vietnamese Ice Coffee = 5/5 (strong and sweet)
Pork Crackel Bun Mi = 3.5/5
I'm a Bun Mi connoisseur and what I look for is freshness of the baguette, fillings and the spreads they use. The baguette wasn't as crunchy and fresh as you would get from a Vietnamese Bakery, the fillings are fresh and plentiful. However, what failed me towards the end was the use of normal plain butter. Overall thou, a tasty Bun Mi, I'd definitely come back to this place if I were in the city.
Great variety and tasty selections will keep most customersreturning. Good wipedown with anti-stick solution on inside tables would improve experience.
The food is pretty great but just a little bit lacking in customer service, we didn't know what to do when we walked in and the rushed words from the staff member didn't make it clearer - although dishes came quickly so that was good.
Fantastic food. I've tried their baos, noodle bowls, banh mi and snacks, and everything has been delicious. Very well priced too. Will be coming back for sure.
I usually love Sitlo, but my last order (online) was more wrong than right!
I ordered (11 Waymouth) a noodle bowl Grilled Chicken with Fish sauce. I received a pork bowl with an oil/garlic sauce? My stomach was not happy. - It was takeaway, so I realised this once I was back in the office.
