Sip'n Save - Somerset Hotel

We needed emergency accommodation on the Easter public holiday weekend, the somerset came through with the goods!
Budget rooms, but clean and all necessities provided and available. Full bar and restaurant in the main building. Very convenient!

Usually the schnitzels at the Somerset are pretty good but I must say the last one I had was ordinary. There was no crunch in the coating and it took a bit of cutting to get through it. The chips were nice but overall the meal was a bit disappointing this time. I will go again as it’s a nice pub and usually the food is good.

Very nice place for tea as a group, only complaint would be they took a while to deliver meals but were very nice and great value for money. Would return again.

Nice lunch meal. Honey chicken with veg. Menu had rice but staff were happy to swap out for vegetables on request. Tender, tasty and also a popular choice with the locals while I was there.

Fantastic place. Very busy in the restaurant. The schnitzels are bigger than the plates. Great value for money. Can cater for large groups.

Fantasic staff very helpful when my partner and I were on hoilday recently, meal's very good, room was spaceious and satisfied.:) :)
