Shell reviews
48It was ok, a little bit to costly, the place needed a tidy and clean up but then under staffing is petrol station thing.
Try the food in the Outback place very nice. Hit up the Outback exclusive Big Shed beer. Friendly but busy team both helping customers and trying to make sure nothing gets knocked off:)
Not a single customer at the Bowser's. We desperately need gas. Ask if we can pretty, pretty please get some gas? Aaaah nooooo go up the road to the Ampol. Poor, poor, poor service. We will go to the Ampol for fuel, for gas and anything else we need. What wonderful service we got there. Thanx for directing us to them, they know how to look after customers. We won't be back to the Shell.
Very well respected and appreciated when traveling, Customer service you'll never forget. Also has cabinets accommodation there
Great range of hot & cold foods. Many souveniers to choose from as well as lots of other goodies. Friendly staff
Had dinner of a Lamb gyros open plate. Very filling. Reasonable petrol price with discount if senior or have a meal receipt.
A great place for food & drink. Very clean & tidy. Service was great as well. It would be a pleasure to drop back in there again
Was able to use the shower for a small fee which was appreciated. The food at the bar and grill was not cheap but was good quality. Plenty of automotive / tools / hardware items available for purchase.
We just had some coffee here and a muffin. Friendly, quiet and clean. Not a very inspiring breakfast menu.
Good clean, and plenty of bowsers. Fuel was well priced and had discount for eating there also. Well stocked store and clean amenities block
Toilet smell horrible. Water spilt all over bench and floor. Yes I reported it.
Can only make a coffee (or get hot water) if you pay cash. Not what we wanted to hear at 4am. Especially driving from Perth
Open 24/7. First place to stop when entered to town. Easy acces in snd out. Staff is very helpful.
Great servo. Loads of space. Reasonable priced fuel. Wide range of stock in the shop area, even car parts.
Its decent food and a good place to rest and have a meal. This place is reasonably priced except for petrol which is expensive.
My wife and I didn't specifically buy fuel or use other motor vehicle related services. We actually dined in their associated Outback Bar and Grill for dinner on that night. I have already written a review about that excellent venue.
Feel like it's slightly gone down hill since my last visit 2 years ago. I feel like menu is still the same, good variety though not great portion sizes for the price, but probably fare considering the remote location
Good place to stop and get petrol and buy some groceries. Things are expensive but your choices are limited, and the bathroom is clean.
This business is benefitting from a major upgrade several years ago, good facilities, coffee and great meals! Easily the best roadhouse between Port Augusta and Alice Springs!
Had a very cold Iced Coffee there yesterday made by a very nice, friendly & lovely girl.
Thanks Ederlyn.
