Scotty's Motel

A newly discovered budget place to stay. Family friendly, comfy, with car park and few minutes distance to the city. Highly recommended and will stay here again on our next Adelaide trip.

My stay there was ideal. Very modern with an awesome bathroom. Close to everything, great vending machines and food for sale in the office. I recommend Scotty's to anybody. Family and pet friendly too.

Staff where friendly, helpful and accommodated for us to have our car and trailer parked, very clean and comfortable thank you

If you need a place to stay at in Adelaide you need to stay at Scotty's motel excellent and friendly service checking in the rooms were very comfortable and spacious and you need to order breakfast to eat in room as it was a very delious and plenty to eat and excellent prices all around

It's location is excellent great service and lovley staff I will be recommending this motel to friends and family

For the price you pay and considering we rocked up at midnite and greeted warmly it was weĺl worth it all for fantastic sex that followed.
You can tell in its heyday it would have stood out and it still does as a good memory or tribute to that time location is the key word!

This place is the absolute definition of a dive. You arrive to be greeted by what I guess are the regular patrons of the hotel who ask for money to buy cigarettes.
The room itself is well past it's used by date, one of the beds is that flogged out that you can see the curve of where people have slept in the years gone by. In addition to this, the carpets have come away and threadbare, the other occupants are up making noise and fixing vehicles in the morning so a sleep in is unheard of.
Reception are quite lovely, however that is the only highlight of this place.

Stayed there for 3 nights and I am impressed with the service that they provided and it was very affordable.

Beautiful newly renovated room, pleasantly mannered staff. Made my daughter and I feel welcome and safe

Very outdated rooms, beds were uncomfortable, lumpy. No matching decor or furniture, sheets were threadbare and mildly stained.
Toilet ran all night 1st night and was still running by day 3. Door to bathroom was very difficult to open.

No airflow in the rooms, it felt very claustrophobic as there was next to no natural light or air. Felt like a shoebox.
Air conditioner blew out dust and made the air horrible.
Pool looked dirty and there was rubbish and cigarette butts littered around.

The entrance and exit is badly positioned.

Staff seemed friendly and helpful.

For the price I'm not surprised at the quality of the room.

I wouldn't recommend this place for more than 1 night.

Great little motel clean good service. Unfortunately there was a party going on in the next room.by 4am I had Enuf so apart from lack of sleep nice little place

Dodgy. Really dodgy place. It feels like being in a drug dealers hideout. People smoking outside their rooms all time, people screaming and slamming doors in the middle of the night.

Short distance to the city, heaps of beds for all the family, free wifi and a pool to have a nice refreshing dip in

After staying here for a few weeks I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a place to stay while in Adelaide. Great location in North Adelaide, close to shops and entertainment complexes. Very friendly staff, cleaners stop by daily to clean the rooms. Neat and tidy rooms, perfect for couples and families.

Quiet area, spacious rooms for two. Front desk more than happy to be of assistance to me and my partner. Neighbours have been good which is rare but this place lives up to expectations

The worst place ever. DO NOT GO THERE. CANT BELIEVE HOW RUDE FRONT DESK WERE. DISGUSTING, NIGHT PORTER WAS HONESTLY ONE OF THE MOST HORRIBLE PEOPLE IVE HAD THE UNFORTUNATE CHANCE TO CROSS PATHS WITH.
HE HUNG UP ON ME HALF WAY THROUGH ASKING HIS NAME & THEN WOULD'NT ANSWER.
WOULD OF GIVEN ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE

I was woken at 10: 20pm by someone knocking on the door asking if they could buy cigarettes from me. Another smoking related matter: The air conditioning ingested cigarette smell from outside and the turn down of the rooms between guests isn't thorough. There was a brown paper bag on top of the cupboard that was there before me and remained there for my stay.
