Savers reviews
65Prices keep going up and up, to the point where sometimes they sell second hand kmart items for more than the new price. Worth checking in occasionally as there are rare good finds!
If you want to end up buying things you didn't even know you needed go here. There's literally everything.
Always a great place to buy used items! Reduce, reuse, recycle, rethink, upcycle! Why buy brand new when theres perfectly good, serviceable clothing, vases, couches, books and accessories for dirt cheap. Save the planet one item at a time, buy used.
The staff are nice but sometimes a bit brisk if theres a lot of people in store.
Lots of things to look at. I scored a few bargains. I love shopping at Savers.
However, I know its necessary to keep the store smelling fresh with 2nd hand clothing and shoes etc but pumping the air freshener or whatever it is, through the store's ducted system is too much, it gave me an asthma attack. Its too strong guys! Way too strong! We'd walk into invisible clouds of the stuff and it's scent overwhelmed us both. We didnt spend as much time as we usually do at Savers because I could feel the stuff tightening up my chest as I breathed it in. The spray was going to bring on an attack and it did.
That's dangerous to the health of people like me with lung conditions. Even people with allergies would be affected by that, it's so strong! What is you're spraying and what's in it?
Love shopping here for bargains but the super strong air freshener pumped through the air con system is overwhelming and prompted an asthma attack
Its big. It pretends to be a charity but it isnt. It just donates a small percentage of its profits to charity. Better to shop and donate stuff to a real op-shop that is really 100% for a charity.
Savers had gotten so unjustifiable in its price rises and the quality levels dropping so much, it’ll suffocate itsedl eventually, unfortunately. 6JQX+G5 Salisbury, South Australia
Great place to donate items to be reused. Great place to buy second hand items, books, pictures, clothing and much more
Love it - donate clothes and toys the kids have grown out of in exchange for a 20% discount voucher. Some really interesting stuff depending on what's been donated.good prices for quality items
Lots of clothes, but also crockery, books furniture etc. Always a good adventure to see what's there!
Great place for thrifting. I find that this store has a better range of plus sized clothing than the Churchill store.
This is a great place to get second hand items and I would reccomend it for clothing and kitchen ware
Good place for a large selection of preloved clothes & goods. However, pricing has increased considerably in last 12 months. Yes, the money they get goes to charity but some prices, especially name brands are high and not what you expect from a second-hand store. It's better to donate to get 20% discount on purchases. Popular place on their advertised discount days, when you can get 50% off. And parking is plentiful out front or underneath complex. Highly recommend.
Absolute joke of a place my partner put stuff in her bag because she was pushing a pram and couldn't carry it all then when she got up to the counter to pay they surrounded her with security
Omg!
I didn't even know this place existed. Fantastic. You must go just to browse even if you don't need anything!
Awesome range, clean second hand everything!
Guaranteed you'll come home with something you love ️
Staff didn't care and essentially robbed me of my money.
I bought a bunch of clothes there along with a shoe which cost $22. I must not have realised I left the shoe on the counter after paying because it was not in my car nor at my house. I've looked. It was listed on my receipt so I had indeed purchased it.
I came back later to exchange clothing I didn't want and asked if there was anything left behind in that counter earlier that day. She called a senior staff to which she was told to not do anything about it. I was just there standing and they couldn't even tell me that. The transaction was done and I had to ask about it afterwards. They had cameras and couldn't even bother giving it a look. Bunch of thieves.
Shoe bargain. SKETCHERS.
My feet are in comfort heaven.gel heaven.
Tho a little high priced considering wear. I find it Hard to get shoes comfy enuf to allow me to walk without pain.so.pay up or buy New!
I bought a small ceramic figurine of a cat wearing glasses for my ceramic cat figurine collection but when I got home I realized that it wasn't actually a cat but a small dog with the appearance of a cat. Slightly disappointed but I will never give up and I will try again another day.
Found a pair of Forever New jeans that would probably be over $100 brand new for $10 and a Bolt Allstars baseball hat which was probably $60 brand new for $7, great finds
Savers is such a wonderful place to shop, the staff are always friendly and you never know what you will find!
I love coming here and going on a major treasure hunt for everything from clothing to books to collectables! You never know what you are going to find here which makes the time that you spend in the shop more thrilling.
The staff also ‘vet’ the items properly before they come to the floor and they are always in good condition as a result.
Never boring and always a good day out when you want to try and find those few missing books from your collections!
