The tarts are absolutely fantastic! They are so good. I get them as a little treat for myself sometimes, and have bought them to share with friends and colleagues at work. We all love them, and now have them at work sometimes instead of cake for little celebrations or farewell events. Highly recommend!

Nice and crunchy Portuguese custard tart. I was very pleased. If you happen to be in the area, it's definitely worth your time.

Beautiful Portuguese tarts! Pastéis de Nata as they call them in Portugal. Tried the real thing the last year while on my holiday in Lisboa, in iconic pasticeria Pastéis de Belém. These are the real thing, the real taste of beautiful Portugal in Adelaide. Highly recommended

So good! Cool little shop, and friendly staff dutifully explaining how to enjoy the tarts to each and every customer! I'll stop by next time I'm in the area.

Excellent tarts. I admit I didn’t queue for the original ones in Belém so can’t say Saudade matches those but who cares, these are so very good and I don’t have to queue!

Wow! These Portuguese tarts are seriously so delicious. Not too sweet and they have the perfect amount of crunch.

Absolutely delicious and authentic Portuguese tarts. Beautifully crispy pastry with the most delicately soft custard inside. Try them with the cinnamon on top - you won’t be disappointed.

Specialty of Saudade is Portuguese Custard Tarts. The filling is sweet, smooth and delicious. The pastry is warm and crisp. The ladies make dozens of tarts all day long. The coffee is also great. Get a coffee and tart combo along with a six pack of tarts. One tart is never enough and you’ll want to share the deliciousness with your friends and family.

We purchased 100 Portuguese tarts for our recent engagement party. They were absolutely delicious, and ready to pick up as promised. Thank you so much!

It’s been 3 months since i have had one of these Portuguese tarts in Adelaide and now every time I come across a Portuguese tart I’m taken back to the first bite into a warm crispy Saudade tart.

Great job guys you’ve a absolutely set the standard way too high for me. No Portuguese tart comes close.

These tarts are amazing. Do one thing and do it well! Have to say though, their coffee is as good, if not better than the cafes in the centre. Bit dangerous though. I can’t go there and just get a coffee!

An indulgent treat worth the calories! The custard is so rich, smooth and creamy, and the crust is nicely buttery and flakey, but also not oily and not hard at all. A little expensive at $3+ (I think) for each tart but you can taste the passion and love put into it! Also the cinnamon adds such a nice flavour to it, so definitely opt for cinnamon!

My fiancee and i consider ourselves connoisseurs of the pastel de nata having travelled through Portugal for 6 weeks last year, and taste testing the best all over the land - Pasteis de Belem, Manteigaria, Nata, you name it. We were excited to visit this cafe today, but concerned it may not live up to what is found in Portugal. Well let me tell you, Saudade is the 100% REAL DEAL, made by a team of lovely staff, and tasting exactly like youre walking the streets of this beautiful country eating the local pasteis de nata themselves. Thanks for opening an eatery like this, it reminds us of a special place, and most importantly the food IS authentic - we cant wait to come back!

You do hzve to try the Portugese Custard Tarts if you have not done so. Authentic recipe and therefore the same product I ate in Macau. Loved it. Spoil yourself.

Saudade provided their amazing portugese tarts for our wedding a fortnight ago. They delivered to the event and were so easy to order with. All of our guests LOVED them and they were the first of our desserts to disappear. Thank you so much Mafalda and the team at Saudade! I've sent all my guests your way as I'm sure they'll want more!
