San Churro Marion

Staff need to be trained on how to make a Spanish classic hot chocolate. A Spanish classic should be thick, custard like consistency, not watery like a standard hot chocolate. Some staff are good at making it, others are not, training needs to be done. The one I got on Friday 8th December was horrible and undrinkable!

The staff clearly do their best and the drinks are nice, but the tables are often dirty and the venue is way too loud. There needs to be a lower ceiling and a separate area for children's parties (which seem to be the main cause of all the noise). One large group can make the entire rest of the venue very unpleasant to be in.

Wouldn't recommend the new cookie butter hot chocolate with lactose free milk, it was terrible! But my wife has it with regular milk and it was completely different and she loved it!

Very disappointed. We went in for a coffee and were unable to place an order at the counter. They only accept orders via the App. The app makes you give away personal information such as mobile no.and email address. Seriously? Seems like you are happy to cut off a portion of your customer base all to save some money on wages.

I went with my kids ages 6 and 7. This was the first time they tried a Churro and they loved it.

They got the Churro's for one which was too big for them (I recommend sticking to the kid serves), however the staff were lovely and gave us take away containers to pack the donuts so they didn't go to waste.

The place is big with lots of seating. I do recommend to rug up in winter as it was fresh inside (we went when it was cold and rainy).

I recommend this place as a treat and I most likely will go again.

I understand the need to maintain safe working procedures in the current environment, but the ordering system is awful. I go out to eat so I can relax, this was not relaxing. The menu is also pretty bare right now which is disappointing. Hopefully it improves soon.

I have been to this place multiple times and it is my absolute favorite, especially with friends. I particularly love the fondue and banana snack pack. Would recommend you to try both

Look I love a good hot chocolate or Smoothie. I can't fault this place. Good service, great people and it all works well

Still nice but the size per piece is not the same.it's gone smaller compared to when it just opened.

I went to San Churro at Marion shopping centre yesterday and i ordered churros with chocolate sauce, meatballs, vegetable empanadas a mango smoothie and a milkshake.
The churros were very nice and yummy as was the chocolate sauce, the mango smoothie was incredible it was soooo good, the meatballs tasted like something out of a can, if you’ve ever had a can of meatballs and spaghetti they tasted exactly like that I wasn’t impressed I would never buy them again and I highly recommend you don’t either. The vegetable empanadas were average, the pastry on them was dry and hard but the filling was nice but I wouldn’t buy them again, if I ever go there again I will go on a hot day just for the mango smoothie and some churros

Kids have gone to bed, kissed my partner on the forehead. Boom, I am heading to San Churros for some takeaway; if it's a cold night, go the hot chocolate. If it's a warm night, iced chocolate is the way to go.

The staff are always friendly, and the drinks are incredible.

Service is always great and fast. Churros are fresh and crunchy. Love the white chocolate serving. Prices are reasonable and great loyalty program. I will encourage the staff to always ask if the customer is a member because I have forgotten to scan my card so many times.

This place is a staple. You come here for the churros and you won’t be disappointed. I got the lemon lime a and bitter drink and thought it was a bit strong. Next time I will stick to coffee. COVID-SAVE, people wearing masks.

Enjoyed a great variety of drinks and desserts from this San Churros, and between friendly and fast service and quality assured products I give it its high rating. I've never had a drama or bad coffee from here, and always seem to wait just a sufficient time.

Would give zero stars if I could. The lady who served us (Tori) was very cold, rude and uninviting. It is my birthday today and she was refusing to give me the birthday part since I haven’t been a member for a long time. No where does it say you have to be a member for a long time, I offered to show my id to prove it is my birthday but she still refused to serve me. The menu said I only had to show the app, not for how long I’ve been a member.
Very disappointed. Do better!

The waitress this morning was rude from the moment we arrived till when we promptly left.
My friend ordered and was told to speak up as she couldn’t be heard, in a rude manner.

My daughter chose San Churro, out of every cafe in Adelaide, to spend her Birthday morning and was excited to order a birthday special. She has been a member of San Churro for quite some time, however only updated the app today, as she’d brought photo ID with her and didn’t realise we had to update the app before today. We were told we couldn’t get the birthday Churro fiesta at the birthday price because we couldn’t show the correct barcode - even though the menu ONLY asks to show the app when ordering. This is ridiculous, if the menu is just asking to just show the app, not a particular barcode, then honour that, don’t argue with a paying customer.
We were treated rudely, it was very awkward and embarrassing and the customer service was appalling. And a staff member/covid marshall should not touch a customers phone either trying to prove a point that we had one birthday barcode but not the ‘correct one’.
Please don’t treat your customers this way, extremely disappointing on my daughters birthday.
Perhaps say ‘welcome to San Churro’, smile, or even go that extra mile and say happy birthday when it’s obviously a customers birthday and they’re excited to be in your cafe.

Slightly overpriced, haven't been to a San Churro for about 6 or 7 years and I'd have to say, it wasn't anything like I remembered. Now targeted to quantity over quality I'm afraid.

Really great looking place, perfect for something after a day of shopping. Prices are a little higher than other places in the area but definitely worth it. The fruit smoothies are great, super refreshing.

Had the Chilli hot chocolate so thick and sickly, had to ask for more milk as it was that thick the spoon stuck up in it. Still could only drink half.
