You guys add on another great experience for my family (1st time visit Australia and try fish&chip) about friendly Aussies and good food.
We ordered a family pack and each of barra, flake, whiting, and garfish, all yummy

For me however Sammy's Fish & Chippery is one of the strong contenders. For the last few years I have been a regular customer attending every week or two and working my way through their menu.

It all starts with their chips which are extraordinary but Sammy tells me that his secret is simple. Fresh seafood, regularly changing his oil and lots of family history in the Fish & Chips game.

Their fish and chips are amazing but there are also some hidden gems including their fish burger (I will never eat another Fillet-o-Fish), Calamari Yiros and Double Beef and Bacon Burger.

So great to have a place like this near me.

We tried this fish and chippery for the first time tonight and it was AMAZING!
The food was cooked to perfection and it was so fresh and great price! We will be back for sure!

I loved this place so much. The fish was cooked superbly and would visit it again.great value for money. Totally recommend. I don't understand all the bad reviews, don't listen to them.

Ordered lamb yiros with family. Their yiros always seems underseasoned, and never has any nice crispy bits. Also stingy with tzatziki. Other food ordered (calamari, burgers) were great

Ordered flake and chips on Friday night 25/11/2022 within 1/2 hour of consumption I was violently ill with a severe case of food poisoning a week later I'm still not over it! I will NEVER return to Sammy's Fish & Chippery.

Had to go somewhere different due to our regular Chicken and Seafood shop at the Avenues not open. Service was good and fairly clean place. Food however wasn't the greatest.

Fantastic food. Very clean. Great service. So friendly and wonderful people. Lovely fresh seafood. Amazing homemade burgers. Thoroughly recommend buying food here. It's a shame we don't you at home in Qld.

Fresh ingredients, personable staff, good combo deals. Stop for chips frequently. Deep fried Mars bars are oddly amazing!

Was looking for a good fish and chips restaurant/take away place and these guys hit the spot. Fresh fish dipped in beer batter (Coopers Ale) which is all visible to customers, the chips best in area. They are producing brilliant food at a great price. The salad was great also.

Didn't even order anything was just Trying to put some rubbish in the bin but got yelled at me and told I had to buy something before putting something in the bin
RUDE!

Could not believe my eyes when I walked in to see the man quickly put his cigarette out before trying to serve me I can't comment on there food because when I said you shouldn't smoke in a place you serve food he told me to mind my business so I took my business elsewhere

I would give this place 5 stars. I had a quick look at the reviews before ordering (we are not from Adelaide but were staying in the area) and what people wrote was correct. Very friendly service, prompt and polite on the phone, food ready in timely matter and greeted me by first name and hoped I would enjoy my meal. Probably the best take away service I have had in awhile!
